777 vs Kova Predictions

777 are in a bit of a form rut, having lost all but one of their last six matches. They only beat Pact, which was followed by three consecutive losses. Two of those defeats came against Kova. But while Kova have had the better of 777 overall (four wins for Kova and two for 777), two of those games went into overtime. Those two overtime games were split between both teams. Kova themselves are also coming into this match with two successive losses, to Anonymo and Hellslayers.

The two teams have played each other only in three Maps: Nuke, Overpass and Ancient. Kova have won both encounters in Nuke, while Overpass and Ancient have been split one each. The key stat though, is that Kova have won the last three matches between the two sides. The only one they lost went into overtime.

Even though Kova have the head-to-head advantage and the better recent form, the rankings have 777 at No.71 to Kova’s No.83. That means even though Kova’s odds are shorter than 777’s, neither team is a bad bet.

777 Will Rely On H4RR3 For Offensive Production

777’s form peaked in the July to September 2021 period, where they were ranked inside the top 60, even rising as high as 46. They faced a dip after that, but have been rising from that in 2022.

777 have been particularly effective in the Overpass and Ancient maps. They have a win percentage of 56 in nine Overpass maps, and a win percentage of 54 in 13 Ancient maps. They outperform Kova on both, who have a win percentage of just 25 in four Overpass maps and 43 in seven Ancient maps.

777 will rely on H4RR3 as their key player. He is the only one with a higher number of kills per round (0.74) than deaths (0.70) in the last three months. Overall, he has a K/D ratio of 0.94, so the last three months mark an upswing in form, with the K/D ratio rising to 1.05. He’s crucial to 777’s chances, as shown by the team win percentage after his first kill, which is 64.8 in the last three months.

The weapon he favours is the rifle, with which he has 724 kills. The pistol is his second most effective weapon, with 184 kills, both in the last three months. H4RR3 has 12 wins and 8 losses in a 1 on 1 clutch, seven wins in a 1 on 2 clutch

Kova Aiming For Continued Improvement

Kova have not yet broken into the top 50 rankings ever. They’ve had sharp ranking changes in the past couple of months though. A month and a half ago, they were outside the top 100. They then rose to 73 within a fortnight, only to plummet back to 108, and are now at 83. What Kova need is to sustain their streak of form for a bit longer to make a serious climb up.

Kova have been devastatingly good in the Nuke map, playing nine and winning all. They have played only five maps in Vertigo, but won four of them. They’ve also had some success in Mirage, with a win percentage of 64 in 11 maps played.

Spargo will be Kova’s key player. He has a good difference between his kills per round (0.71) and deaths per round (0.63), numbers that suggest he attacks with gusto but can also defend efficiently. Spargo’s all-time K/D ratio is 1.05, but in the last three months, it’s gone up to 1.13.

When he makes his first kill, the team win percentage ratio is a hefty 71.2 percent. He has been proficient with Sniper kills, Rifle kills and Pistol kills. While his Sniper kills lead the way with 459, he’s also got 238 Rifle kills and 129 Pistol kills. He’s also got two wins in a 1 on 3 clutch, and five wins in a 1 on 2 clutch.

Enterprise vs Big Academy Picks

Two teams who have not yet found a way out of mediocrity will face each other on Wednesday from the Elisa Invitational as Enterprise will go up against BIG’s Academy unit. This will be a best of three encounter, played online.

Enterprise are currently struggling at No. 84 in the world rankings followed not too far away by BIG Academy, who presently have a world ranking of 105 overall. Neither of these teams have been in particularly impressive form, especially considering Enterprise have lost their last four straight matches. This will be a problem, in terms of form, as this season progresses.

Matys Will Be Enterprise’s Offensive Weapon

This team is yet to find their best form and confidence but the early signs suggest that Matys will likely be a big part of this success. Matys has been prolific in recent CS:GO action, which includes 0.78 kills and just 0.74 deaths per round in the last three months of pro action.

Enterprise will have several factors to work on, including head to head. These two teams have met each other twice, and BIG Academy have won both of those so there are issues in the Enterprise set-up which they have to sort quickly.

Enterprise will also have to find a way to protect their in-game economy by staying compact defensively and getting deep into rounds. That way, they give themselves the best chance of success against a team that could occasionally move through the phases quickly.

BIG Academy Hoping To Build

BIG Academy have been in decent form in the last few months but they are still ranked outside the top 100, which is currently at No. 105 in the world. This is an academy team so you would expect it to be packed with budding talent but primarily devoid of experience.

K1to, for example, has spent quite a bit of time with the senior team, BIG, but he has returned to academy play to try and regain some confidence and form. K1to has averaged just 0.66 kills and 0.68 deaths per round in the last three months of action, which is not too bad but can also be improved on as the tournament goes on because a K/D of below 1 is untenable in pro CS:GO.

BIG Academy have the advantage of having beaten Enterprise previously, including a 22-20 win in Inferno earlier this year. Overall, there should be enough depth and experience in this team to carry on into the end but they will have to be careful of pushing too hard in an environment that is not as conducive to purely aggressive play.
