The Tigers will start Casey Mize who was 2-6 with a 4.49 ERA this season. Mize had 78 strikeouts in 102.1 innings and a WHIP of 1.47.

The Guardians are going with Tanner Bibee who was 12-8 with a 3.47 ERA in the regular season. He struck out 187 batters in 173.2 innings and had a WHIP of 1.12. 

Expect the Detroit magic to end in this game as Cleveland is coming off rest and has been preparing for this game for a week.

MLB Parlay Picks Today: Royals vs. Yankees (6:40 PM, EST)

Yankees Moneyline  (-205) at bet365

Kansas City comes into this matchup after sweeping Baltimore in a series where their pitching was dominant. The Royals pitching staff only allowed one run in 18 innings, but now their opponent gets tougher with a great Yankees lineup. 

The AL East champs have had time to rest and are now ready to go with Gerrit Cole on the mound. He was 8-5 with a 3.41 ERA in 2024. 

Cole fanned 99 batters in 95 innings and maintained a WHIP of 1.13. He has a ton of postseason experience and is facing a Royals offense that really has not been producing on as of late. 

Kansas City is going with Michael Wacha who went 13-8 with an ERA of 3.35. Wacha struck out 145 batters in 166.2 innings and had a 1.19 WHIP in the regular season. Wacha has been solid in 2024, but now faces a loaded Yankees lineup. 

We expect New York to win this series and that starts with winning game one and setting the tone early.

MLB Parlay Picks Today: Padres vs. Dodgers (8:40 PM, EST)

Dodgers Moneyline (-136) at bet365

To close out our parlay we are taking the Dodgers on the moneyline at -136. Los Angeles was 98-64 in the regular season winning the NL West by five games over the Padres. 

San Diego has posted a great season going 93-69 and now will face a familiar team. 

The Padres are throwing Dylan Cease who was 14-11 with a 3.47 ERA in 2024. He had 224 strikeouts in 189.1 innings and a WHIP of 1.07. 

Yoshinobu Yamamoto will get the ball for the Dodgers and he was 7-2 with a 3.00 ERA. He struck out 105 batters in 90 innings and posted a WHIP of 1.11. Yamamoto has one of the best pitching arsenal’s in baseball and we expect him to dominate the Padres lineup. 

Both of these teams have posted outstanding seasons in 2024, but the Dodgers have too much talent to not win this series. Look for them to start fast in this game and get to the Padres bullpen to cash our parlay.
