The bet365 site works really well. It’s nicely laid out and there’s a lot of information on the screen. The list of online mobile sports is always found on the left-hand side of the page, and the Bet Slip tool permanently occupies the right-hand panel.

bet365 is menu-heavy. By this, we mean that the site invites new players to navigate to the specific betting markets they are looking for, rather than taking up screen space suggesting options.

For example, if you click into a sport from the menu, rather than showing uploads of games you may or may not be interested in, users are invited to click through subsections to find exactly what they are looking for.

This structure is probably better suited to intermediate players than beginners. New bettors may prefer to see the biggest teams and bets flash up on their screen as soon as they click on a sport, but we like the opportunity to navigate to what we want.

We were very impressed with the live section, which has live streaming of many sports directly on the site. For games without a live stream, there is a graphic giving live updates.

Placing qualifying bets is easy on bet365 NJ. When you click on a bet, it’s automatically added to the bet slip where you can choose what bet type you want and test out different stakes to see how much you would win.

Things to Improve

• The “Promotions” icon, which shows you what promos and bonuses are currently available, is hidden at the very bottom of the page. We would like it to be more visible.
• It would be nice to have a direct link to the live chat customer support on the homepage.
• This is not necessarily a criticism, but in our opinion, the site is better suited to slightly more experienced bettors than absolute beginners. There is a lot of information and resources – which we like but won’t suit all new customers.
