Best NRFI Bets Today: Target a Pair of Evening NRFIs for Monday’s Small Slate of Games
In a favorable matchup against the underwhelming Baltimore Orioles, Patrick Corbin will have a great opportunity to build on his momentum as he faces off against an offense who struggles with making contact. Later in the night, we turn our attention towards a NL West divisional matchup between San Francisco and Arizona as both lineups are set to face off against a pair of productive arms.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Texas Rangers - Trevor Rogers vs. Patrick Corbin (8:05 PM, EST)
Under 0.5 Run (-115) at BetMGM Sportsbook
After years of being labeled as one of the worst starting pitchers in the league, Patrick Corbin has seemingly regained control of his command since joining the Texas Rangers. As of writing, Corbin is averaging an WHIP of 1.284 and less than one Hit Allowed per Inning Pitched. Corbin is also surrounded by a very productive back end as the Rangers defense leads the league in Defensive Efficiency.
Against Baltimore, expect Corbin to sustain his high level of play on the mound as he faces off against an offense who ranks below league average in Contact Rate, RBIs, Total Runs Scored, and in On Base Percentage. Especially with the Orioles struggling with their discipline at the plate as their offense also ranks ninth overall in Strikeout Rate and 26th in Bases on Walks.
On the other side of the field, Trevor Rogers is also in a favorable position to thrive as he is set to battle it out against a Rangers offense who also ranks in the bottom half of the board in the same previously mentioned metrics. While the sample size is small, Rogers has been dominant since the start of the season as he is currently averaging an ERA of 1.62, a WHIP of 0.780, and a FIP of 2.25.

San Francisco Giants vs. Arizona Diamondbacks - Logan Webb vs. Ryne Nelson (9:40 PM, EST)
Under 0.5 Run (-122) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Speaking of dominating since the start of the season, Logan Webb continues to strengthen his claim for the NL Cy Young award as the San Francisco Giants pitcher is currently averaging an ERA of 2.52, a WHIP of 1.137, and a FIP of 2.25. His high level of play on the mound stems from his ability to create Whiffs at a high rate as Webb also averages more than one Strikeout per Inning Pitched.
Even though the Giants defense ranks just league average in Defensive Efficiency, Webb has shown he can neutralize any offense with just his individual production as his NL leading FIP of 2.25 indicates. Expect negative regression to rear its ugly head over the Diamondbacks offense, leaving them prone to a slow start early on in the contest.
Unlike Webb, Ryne Nelson draws a far more favorable matchup as the Diamondbacks pitcher gets the benefit of facing off against an offense who ranks below league average in Contact Rate and in On Base Percentage. The Giants inability to make contact will be on full display against Nelson as he enters the contest averaging less than one Hit Allowed per Inning Pitched and a WHIP of 1.055.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Boston Red Sox - Chase Burns vs. Garrett Crochet - Expect the Boston Red Sox to open up the scoring early on in their contest against the Cincinnati Reds as their productive bats face off against Chase Burns who is currently averaging over one Hit Against per Inning Pitched in his young career.
