The Brooklyn Nets and the Atlanta Hawks face off as they both jockey for a better position in the Eastern Conference. The Atlanta Hawks are just outside of the playoff picture, ranking seventh in the East with a 17-16 record. The Brooklyn Nets are hoping to climb up to the top seed in the East though, currently sitting third in the standings with a 22-12 record.
The Nets have proven to be a solid two-way team. Not only do they hold their opponents to 111.3 points per game (9th in the NBA) on 45.6% shooting from the field (5th in the NBA), but they average 114.4 points per game (13th in the NBA) on 51.0% from the field (1st in the NBA) and 39.1% from three (1st in the NBA). The Atlanta Hawks are much less refined in their approach, opting for volume instead of efficiency - despite averaging 114.6 points per game (12th in the NBA) themselves.
The Hawks have great scoring potential, but their defense doesn't project to be strong enough to take down the Nets. Even though they're motivated after coming off of a loss, Brooklyn's offensive efficiency and Atlanta's place on the second leg of a back-to-back puts this in the hands of the Nets.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and the New Orleans Pelicans are on opposite ends of the Western Conference spectrum at the moment. The New Orleans Pelicans currently second in the Western Conference with a 21-12 record and a 14-4 home record. The Minnesota Timberwolves are 11th in the West, owning a 16-18 record and a 7-10 road record.
Despite their recurring injury issues, the Pelicans still average 117.8 points per game (3rd in the NBA) on 48.3% from the field (6th in the NBA), while also collecting 27.1 assists per game (4th in the NBA). Minnesota shoot 49.1% from the field (3rd in the NBA) themselves, but it's usually undone by their 16.3 turnovers per game (28th in the NBA) and 14.2 three-pointers allowed (30th in the NBA).
Minnesota haven't looked great at times this season, but with New Orleans likely missing Ingram, Williamson, and Jones for this matchup the Timberwolves suddenly look much more viable. It'll likely come down to a scoring contest and with injuries considered it seems like the Timberwolves could be in a fortunate position.

One of the NBA's older rivalries, the Chicago Bulls host their rivals the Milwaukee Bucks! Milwaukee remain one of the Eastern Conference's stronger teams, owning a 22-11 record and sitting second in the standings. The Chicago Bulls have struggled though, now 11th in the East with a 14-19 record.
The Bucks have owned the paint on both ends of the court this season. They average 48.0 rebounds per game (2nd in the NBA) while also limiting opponents to 45.5% from the field (4th in the NBA) and 51.4% from two-point range (2nd in the NBA). The Chicago Bulls will try to counter with their deadly mid-range game, where they hit 31.5 twos per game (5th in the NBA) on 48.3% from the field overall (5th in the NBA). Chicago aren't a strong defensive team though, as they struggle to contain their opponents from range or at the rim.
Chicago will likely put up a good fight, if not for anything but the offensive brilliance of DeMar DeRozan. However, the Bucks have an all-around offense, a tenacious defense, and one of the league's best-ever players. Given the Bulls' injury trouble with key wing defenders, the Bucks should earn a victory.
