Both the Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors are looking to improve their positions in the Eastern Conference. The Chicago Bulls are currently 11th in the Eastern Conference with a 28-33 overall record and a 10-20 road record. The Toronto Raptors are ranked ninth in the East with a 30-32 overall record and a 19-13 home record.
The Chicago Bulls may not be the highest-scoring team in the NBA, but they shoot 48.8% from the field (6th in the NBA) while also holding teams to just 46.7% shooting from the field (9th in the NBA). The Bulls will look to maintain their defensive quality, as they've allowed just 84.5 points per game on 39.5% shooting from the field and 25.0% from three-point range in their two straight wins. The Toronto Raptors will pit their aggressive defence against the Bulls, as they allow just 112.2 points per game (8th in the NBA) while forcing 16.5 turnovers per game (2nd in the NBA). Despite winning four of their last five games, the Raptors will look to improve on their blowout loss against the Cavaliers, where they allowed their opponents to shoot 52.4% from the field and 50.0% from three on 16 made threes.
We're expecting the Toronto Raptors to get back on the winning track when they take on the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls' defence has been excellent as of late, but it isn't sustainable. Given the Raptors' improvement in the paint and their already aggressive defence, they should be able to shut down the slow-paced Bulls.

The Indiana Pacers and the Dallas Mavericks are set for a fast-paced matchup on Tuesday night! The Pacers are currently ranked 12th in the Eastern Conference with a 27-35 overall record and a 9-20 road record. The Dallas Mavericks are just barely holding on to sixth place in the Western Conference, owning a 32-30 overall record and a 20-11 home record.
Averaging 115.0 points per game (12th in the NBA) and 14.0 threes per game (6th in the NBA), the Indiana Pacers are always ready to put on a high-scoring game. They're coming off of a 121-108 win over the Orlando Magic in their last game, where they converted on 48 field goals off of 35 assists. The Dallas Mavericks are still trying to find their offensive groove, but they limit teams to 112.5 points per game (12th in the NBA) and 10.9 three-pointers per game (1st in the NBA) on 34.9% efficiency (8th in the NBA). The Mavericks are coming off of a disappointing three-point loss to the Lakers in their last game, despite holding their opponents to just 43.3% from the field and 16.7% from three-point range.
On their home court, we're taking the Dallas Mavericks to take down the Indiana Pacers. Dallas operates a much more diverse offense, and the Pacers are in the bottom third of the league in points allowed per game. Against the stellar perimeter play of the Mavericks, Indiana doesn't project to have an answer.

The Portland Trail Blazers and Golden State Warriors continue their Western Conference rivalry when they face off on Tuesday night. The Golden State Warriors are currently seventh in the Western Conference with a 31-30 overall record and a 24-7 home record. The Portland Trail Blazers have fallen to 11th in the Western Conference, owning a 29-31 overall record and a 12-17 road record.
A team that lives and dies by the quality of their three-point shots, the Portland Trail Blazers average 115.2 points per game (11th in the NBA) on 48.3% shooting from the field and 37.8% from three-point range (7th in the NBA). They're coming off of a blowout win over the Houston Rockets in their last game, where they shot 54.5% from the field and 51.3% from three off the back of a 71-point performance from Damian Lillard. The Golden State Warriors are similar in their shot selection, averaging 118.3 points per game (2nd in the NBA) while hitting 16.7 threes per game (1st in the NBA) on 38.6% three-point efficiency (3rd in the NBA). The Warriors have found success in their last two games, despite their injuries, due to their defense, which has held teams to just 40.7% shooting from the field and 35.0% from three-point range.
While the Warriors have won back-to-back games, we're taking the Portland Trail Blazers in this matchup. Golden State's injury list features three starters and two key role players, while the Trail Blazers have shown improvement even with Anfernee Simons unavailable. While we don't expect another record-setting performance from Lillard, we expect the Trail Blazers' improved defense to limit the shorthanded Warriors.
