Our Picks:
Booker is the rising star for the Phoenix Suns, but he’s been comparatively average in the scoring department through the NBA Finals. Booker is likely to improve on his 10-point outing in his last game, where he was just 3 of 14 from the field.
The Bucks’ perimeter defenders seem to have settled into Booker’s offense, but that won’t stop him entirely. We don’t see him clearing 27.5, but that doesn’t mean he’ll have a poor game.
DeAndre Ayton has been averaging an impressive 13.0 rebounds per game through three games in the NBA Finals. His last outing was his worst on the glass, however, it was mostly due to foul trouble.
Clearing 12.5 should be in the cards for Phoenix’s young center.
P.J. Tucker is a fantastic rebounder for his position, however, in this matchup, he’s just a bit outsized. With his focus on slowing the perimeter offense of Chris Paul and Devin Booker, Tucker hasn’t been very competitive on the glass.
Averaging just 3.7 rebounds per game in the Finals, we don’t see Tucker clearing 4.5.
Middleton is Milwaukee’s steadying force. While his shooting comes and goes, Middleton is always capable of running the offense.
Averaging six assists per game at a very consistent clip, picking Middleton to clear 5.5 at +110 is a great choice.
So far, the most exceptional player of the NBA Finals has been Giannis Antetokounmpo. He’s averaging 34.3 points, 14.0 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. He’s also coming off of back-to-back 40-point double-doubles.
Averaging a combined total of 53.0 over his last three games, Antetokounmpo will always be the focal point of Milwaukee’s offense. We see him clearing 52.5.
