The Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics are the only teams on the schedule on Wednesday night, and it projects to be a tightly contested affair!
James Harden went off with his scoring in Game 1, and he doesn't project to slow down at all. Jayson Tatum was close to earning the Celtics a win in their first game, and his scoring output remains a game-changer. Also, Marcus Smart is set to bounce back from an off-playmaking night for Boston.

James Harden has always been known as one of the NBA's best scorers, but he's taken a backseat in the scoring department through the regular season. At BetRivers, Harden is a +110 to clear 25.5 points when he faces the Boston Celtics in Game 2. With Joel Embiid unlikely to suit up for Game 2, expect Harden to maintain his position as the Sixers' number one scoring option.
On the season, Harden is averaging 21.0 points, 10.7 assists, and 6.1 rebounds on 44.1% from the field and 38.5% from three-point range. Through his five post-season games this year, Harden has averaged 22.8 points, 8.2 assists, and 4.6 rebounds on 41.2% from the field and 44.7% from three-point range. He's coming off his best-scoring game of the playoffs, posting 45 points and six assists on 56.7% shooting from the field and 50.0% from deep.
James Harden cleared 25.5 points in 17 of his 58 appearances throughout the regular season. In this year's NBA Playoffs, he scored more than 26 points once. Chances are that Harden won't hit 45 points again, but with Embiid unavailable, Harden will be the first option in Philadelphia's offense again.

Jayson Tatum remained the Boston Celtics' most dangerous scorer when they opened their NBA Playoffs Second Round series. Tatum will look to improve on his massive scoring night in Game 1, despite the loss. At BetRivers, Tatum is a +100 to clear 30.5 points when he faces the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 2.
On the season, Tatum has averaged 30.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists on 46.6% from the field and 35.0% from three-point range. In his playoff appearances this season, Tatum has averaged 28.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 5.3 assists on 47.1% from the field and 38.5% from deep. He had his biggest scoring night of the post-season last time out, posting 39 points and 11 rebounds on 56.0% from the field and 80.0% from three.
With the Celtics desperate for victory, expect Tatum to take advantage of the Sixers' shorthanded defense again. Tatum cleared 30.5 points in 38 of his 74 regular season games. In the playoffs, Tatum has scored 31 points or more just twice.

Marcus Smart has been a critical contributor for the Celtics this season, but his playmaking was inconsistent in Game 1. Smart will need to adjust as the key playmaker in the starting lineup. At FanDuel Sportsbook, Smart is a +108 to clear 5.5 assists when he faces the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 2.
Smart averaged 11.5 points, 6.3 assists, and 3.1 rebounds on 41.5% from the field and 33.6% from three through the regular season. Through the post-season, Smart has averaged 16.0 points, 5.4 assists, and 4.1 rebounds on 50.0% from the field and 36.6% from three. In his most recent match, Smart posted 12 points and seven assists, but he also committed six turnovers.
As the Celtics battle back from a 0-1 deficit, Smart projects to be locked in with his playmaking. Smart has collected six or more assists in four of his seven contests in the playoffs. Through 61 regular season appearances, Smart cleared 5.5 assists 36 times.
