The frontrunner for the NBA Rookie of the Year award, Paolo Banchero looks to continue his stellar play against the Hawks. At FanDuel, Banchero is a -104 to clear 23.5 points and assists combined.
On the season, Banchero is averaging 22.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.1 assists on 46.0% from the field and 27.5% from the three-point range. After missing seven games Banchero has averaged 20.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in the three games since his return.
The Hawks certainly aren't famous for their defense, especially in the paint. Banchero should return to his pre-injury form when he leads his Magic against the Hawks.
Darius Garland has helped lead his Cleveland Cavaliers to the third seed in the East through his stellar play this season. At PointsBet, Garland is a -110 to clear 31.5 points and assists combined when he faces the Sixers.
On the season, Garland is averaging 22.9 points 8.1 assists, and 2.3 rebounds on 44.1% from the field and 40.6% from three. However, over his last two games, Garland has averaged just 18.5 points and 10.0 assists on 36.7% from the field and 20.0% from three.
You can probably take his last two games as a blip on the radar, as Garland has averaged 28.1 points and 7.3 assists over his previous eight games. Don't expect the shorthanded Sixers to contain him.
At just 21 years old, Anthony Edwards has proven himself to be one of the league's most exciting young stars. At DraftKings, Edwards is a -105 to clear 25.5 points when he faces the Memphis Grizzlies.
On the season, Edwards is averaging 22.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.8 assists on 45.7% from the field and 34.6% from three. Over his last three games, Edwards has averaged 26.7 points on 45.6% from the field and 7.3 free throws made per game.
With Karl-Anthony Town expected to miss significant time, that's 14.4 field goal attempts that are sure to find their way to Anthony Edwards. As the sole leader of the Timberwolves' offense, expect Edwards to clear 25.5 with ease.
