Buddy Hield is known as a three-point shooter, but he’s done more than enough to prove he’s a capable playmaker when called upon. When the In-Season Tournament Final tips off, Hield must support Haliburton’s playmaking to help win the inaugural NBA Cup!
On the season, Hield averages 13.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. He’s had more productive seasons in the assists department, but he’s ceded playmaking duties to the brilliant Tyrese Haliburton.
Hield has dished out three or more assists in eight of his 20 games this season. With Los Angeles’ apparent game plan to get the ball out of Haliburton’s hands, expect Hield to take the reins on offense more than usual.
Austin Reaves has relished his opportunities as a bench leader for the Los Angeles Lakers, and it’s provided positive results. One of the league’s best all-around contributors, Reaves makes an impact for the Lakers whenever he is on the court.
On the season, Reaves is averaging 14.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.7 assists on 46.7% from the field and 33.0% from three. While his shooting has been inconsistent this season, his effort has always been apparent. This season has been, by far, his best on the boards.
Reaves has cleared 4.5 rebounds in 11 of his 23 appearances this season. While not known for his rebounding prowess, he should thrive as an auxiliary rebounder against a Pacers team that is 29th in total rebounds per game. With Davis handling the big men in the paint, Reaves will be the player expected to take on more responsibility.

There’s no secret what LeBron James wants from the first In-Season Tournament Final. James aims to add the inaugural NBA Cup to his trophy cabinet when the Pacers and Lakers take the court. A part of his Lakers’ success will be his three-point shooting, which he leads this season.
Through the 2023-24 NBA season, LeBron James has averaged 25.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.6 assists on 55.3% from the field and 40.7% from three-point range on 2.3 made per contest. He’s tied his second-best three-point shooting performance for a season with that average, and given the quality of Los Angeles’ shooters, he may even improve this season.
LeBron James has cleared 2.5 three-pointers in 10 of his 22 appearances this season, with a season-high five threes made against the Portland Trail Blazers. Indiana is one of the worst teams in three-point efficiency allowed but is first in threes allowed per game. In a must-win game, expect James to exceed expectations.
A Player Prop in NBA betting focuses on individual player performance rather than the game outcome. It involves wagering on specific player actions, like points scored or rebounds, with bookmakers setting benchmarks. For instance, a LeBron James prop bet might predict if he'll score over/under 25.5 points in a game. These bets provide an extra layer of excitement, allowing bettors to concentrate on specific players within the broader game context.
