Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards have yet to impress this season. One of the worst teams in the NBA, Poole hasn’t been able to step up and become the leader of his new club. On Saturday, he faces an Eastern Conference rival, who boasts an impressive defense.
Through 32 games, Poole has averaged 16.9 points, 3.7 assists, and 2.1 threes per game on 41.1% from the field and 31.6% from three-point range. In his last game against the Knicks, he posted a paltry 8 points and 5 turnovers on 2 of 11 shooting from the field. After the acquisition of OG Anunoby, the Knicks defense has only improved.
A willing shooter, if an inefficient one, Poole has hit under 1.5 threes in 15 of his 32 matches this year. The Knicks were one team that held him without a three in a previous game this season, and he’s coming off a stretch where he hasn’t cleared 1.5 threes in three of his last five.
Derrick White isn't the first player you think of the Boston Celtics, but he's a vital contributor to their success on both ends of the court. An excellent player on both sides of the court, White balances his All-Defense Team contributions with deadeye shooting. Against a fast-paced Pacers team, White should thrive.
In his eighth season, White is averaging 17.0 points, 5.3 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.8 threes per game on 49.4% from the field and 42.2% from three-point range. In two games against the Pacers this season, White has averaged 18.0 points, 6.0 assists, and 3.0 threes on 53.8% from the floor and 37.8% from beyond the arc. Consistency has been his calling card all season.
The Celtics are a volume-shooting team, and White is a valuable contributor. He's hit three or more threes in 15 of his 30 appearances this season. Coming off of a match where he hit five three-point field goals, to say White is in form is an understatement.

Many were wary when Fred VanVleet joined the Houston Rockets due to his liberal shot selection in previous years. He’s transformed into one of the NBA’s best playmakers, orchestrating the overachieving Rockets offense. Against the Bucks, VanVleet will need to maintain his form to keep up with one of the league’s best.
VanVleet has been a leader for the Rockets this season, averaging 17.5 points, 8.6 assists, and 1.8 turnovers per game on 41.0% from the field and 40.3% from three. In his sole game against the Bucks this season, VanVleet posted 22 points, 6 assists, and a single turnover on 50.0% from the field and deep.
In 31 regular season appearances, VanVleet has hit over 8.5 assists in 16 games. He’s also cleared 8.5 assists in three of his last five matchups. This prop is promising to hit in his current form, and VanVleet’s Rockets are desperate for victory.
In NBA betting, a Player Prop directs attention to the individual performance of players rather than the overall game result. This entails placing bets on specific player actions, such as points scored or rebounds, with bookmakers establishing benchmarks.
For instance, consider a Stephen Curry prop bet speculating on whether he'll surpass or fall below 35.5 points in a game. These wagers introduce an additional element of excitement, enabling bettors to focus on particular players within the broader game context.
