The weekend was capped off by the Cleveland Cavaliers rallying from an 18-point deficit against the Orlando Magic to secure the largest comeback in a Game Seven in NBA playoffs history, led by Donovan Mitchell’s 39 points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers will start their series against the New York Knicks later tonight, while the Minnesota Timberwolves will take a 1-0 lead on the road to face the Denver Nuggets.
Here are our favorite NBA player prop picks for the playoffs on Monday.

Nembhard might only be a second-year pro, but he played four years of college basketball and experienced deep tournament runs with Gonzaga, so he shouldn’t be too intimidated by the NBA playoffs second-round stage. He’ll also draw the worst of the Knicks’ backcourt defenders thanks to his teammate, Tyrese Haliburton.
Nembhard increased his assists average from 4.1 during the regular season to 4.7 in the playoffs and went over in two of his last three games, highlighted by a nine-assist performance in Game Three against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Knicks also ranked 12th of 16 playoff teams in opponents’ assists per game.

Hart was the hero of the first round for the Knicks, alongside his longtime friend, Jalen Brunson. He sank at least three threes in four of six games against the Philadelphia 76ers and shot 43.2 percent from deep for the series overall, yet there’s reason to believe he’ll regress against the Pacers.
Hart was only a 31 percent three-point shooter during the regular season and is facing an Indiana team whose priority is to run opponents off of the three-point line. They allowed the fewest three-pointers per game during the regular season and fell to seventh during the first round, but expect them to get back to their usual ways.

The Joker has been great throughout the playoffs, but he hasn’t been dominant. He and the Nuggets’ lackadaisical approach was evidenced by the constant swings in their first-round series with the Los Angeles Lakers and came back to bite them in their 106-99 loss to a hungry Wolves squad on Saturday.
As the best player on the team and in the world, Jokic needs to respond. He swallowed 14+ rebounds in four straight games prior to only grabbing eight in Game One, and he averaged 12.4 (on much fewer minutes) during the regular season, putting another over well within his reach.

The NBA 2024 Sixth Man of the Year is more of a score-first player, having averaged 13.5 points during the regular season and dropping 16 in Game One. He can be more than that, however, specifically a solid rebounder, despite what he showed during the first round.
The Wolves’ fan-favorite didn’t bring down more than three rebounds against the Phoenix Suns but finally secured four in Game One against Denver. He also averaged 5.2 during the regular season and could spend more time on the court than usual if Jokic is aggressive and pulls either Rudy Gobert or Karl-Anthony Towns into foul trouble.

Edwards is off to a blistering start to the postseason, averaging 33.4 points with 3.4 threes on 43.6 percent three-point shooting. He scored 43 points and made three triples in Game One and is making the case that he can be the best player in the world if he consistently knocks down his long-range perimeter shots.
The 22-year-old could one day be a great sniper from deep and shot the ball well over the last couple of weeks, but that’s not who he usually is. He only made 35.7 percent of his threes during the regular season and is facing a Denver squad that held teams to 31.6 percent three-point shooting during the playoffs.
