How can the Bucks beat the Celtics?
The Milwaukee Bucks are coming off of a solid win over the New York Knicks. When the Bucks take on the Celtics, they’ll want a similar all-around effort.
The Celtics beat Milwaukee in their earlier meeting this season due to a fantastic all-around effort and some fortune around the Bucks’ injuries. What Milwaukee did well was limit Boston’s success shooting the ball, even if they couldn’t keep up with the scoring pace.
In this match up, the Bucks will have a much healthier complement of players. If they can carry over their recent defensive efforts while also receiving production from their stars, it’s hard to bet against the reigning NBA champions.
Bucks Key Player: (F) Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Milwaukee Bucks are looking to continue their winning streak, with Giannis Antetokounmpo at the helm. After Antetokounmpo’s fantastic play in his last game, it’s no wonder the Bucks have climbed back to second in the East.
In his last game against the Knicks, Antetokounmpo showed off his MVP calibre. In a 112-97 win over the Knicks, Antetokounmpo posted 20 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds in 32 minutes of play.
The Bucks didn’t have the Greek Freak in their first meeting with the Celtics, there’s no doubt that he’ll be a difference-maker this time out.
How can the Celtics beat the Bucks?
The Boston Celtics are coming off of an embarrassing loss to the Phoenix Suns. While Boston were blown out by 21 in their last game, they’ll need to regroup quickly against another offensively adept team in the Bucks.
A large reason for their lack of success in their last game was poor three-point shooting. The Celtics converted on just 4 of their 26 three-point attempts, and shot just 37.6% from the field overall.
If Boston wants to steal a win from the Bucks, their offence needs their distance shooting. Against a switch-happy defence, it won’t be easy for the Celtics.
Celtics Key Player: (G) Marcus Smart

With the Celtics coming off of a blowout loss to the Phoenix Suns, all eyes are looking at Boston mainstay Marcus Smart regarding his performance.
In 31 minutes of play, Smart was a minus-12. He posted just 4 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals on 1 of 13 shooting from the field. Smart even failed to convert on any of his 5 three-point field goal attempts.
Smart won’t even be in his wheelhouse against the Bucks, as Milwaukee love the pace-and-space game. On the offensive end it is obvious what the Celtics need from Smart, points.
