How Can the Bucks Beat the Nuggets?
The Milwaukee Bucks are slowly returning to good health. As they work their way back to one-hundred percent, they can’t get complacent against an undermanned Nuggets team.
When Milwaukee face off against Denver, they need to key in on the Nuggets’ key playmakers. The pair of Facundo Campazzo, Will Barton, and Monte Morris combined for 15 of the team’s 26 assists.
If the Bucks can limit Denver’s playmaking from the tip, they can stifle Denver’s offence. With or without Jokic, Milwaukee must force Denver into as many isolation plays as possible.
Bucks Key Player: (F) Khris Middleton

The Milwaukee Bucks got off to a fantastic start to open their last game against the Magic. Due to their early success, Milwaukee’s stars didn’t need to play heavy minutes. However, the Bucks still need Khris Middleton to find his groove.
Middleton has been back in the lineup for four five games now, after missing eight consecutive matches. The Bucks All-Star is coming off of an 11 point, 9 rebound, and 4 assist game.
Since coming back, Middleton’s shooting has been below 40% for three out of his five games played. While Denver are undermanned, Middleton’s signature offensive efficiency must return for the Bucks to look like proper title threats again.
How Can the Nuggets beat the Bucks?
The Denver Nuggets are heavy underdogs going into this matchup and it’s very clear why. Missing their starting point guard Jamal Murray and reigning MVP Nikola Jokic in recent games, Denver must do the dirty work to stay competitive.
In the Milwaukee Bucks’ losses, they’ve been outrebounded by an average of 9.1 while also shooting just 30.5% from three-point range.
Controlling Milwaukee in the paint and the perimeter is a tall task for a shorthanded team like Denver. If the Nuggets can battle with the Bucks from three and in the paint, they could pull off an upset.
Nuggets Key Player: (G-F) Will Barton

The Denver Nuggets are in free-fall, especially with Jokic’s availability in doubt. While the reigning MVP missed Denver’s last game, it is Nuggets mainstay Will Barton who needs to step up whether Jokic is available or not.
Barton is coming off of an 11 point, 8 rebound, and 7 assist game. He was modest on the offensive end, but made it a point to try and contribute in other categories.
One of the team’s more talented individual scorers, Barton must be aggressive on the offensive end. While Denver’s defence is inconsistent without their pillar in the middle, Barton can still keep them competitive with his scoring.
