Chicago Bulls vs Philadelphia 76ers Predictions and Picks
The Chicago Bulls are on a great run to open the season, justifying their position at the top of the Conference. At full health, the Sixers are a dangerous outfit. But with the likelihood of Embiid and Harris sitting out, Philly is simply outgunned.

CHI: Keep Up Bench Production
The Chicago Bulls suffered some bad news last week due to the injury to Patrick Williams and their first loss of the season. However, in their last match against the Boston Celtics, they showed no signs of worry, mostly due to their tremendous bench play.
The Bulls don’t go deep in their rotation, but they are nonetheless effective. In their last game against the Celtics, DeRozan led a bench unit of Caruso, Dosunmu, Jones, and Bradley. The four reserves were an average of plus-17.5 on the night.
While the depth of the Bulls’ roster isn’t overwhelming, their ability to stagger lineups with their stars is incredibly effective. Due to the strength of the Sixers, Chicago will need their bench to be even more productive.
Bulls Key Player: (C) Nikola Vucevic
No pass will necessarily stand out (besides the great tip to DJJ at the end), but Nikola Vucevic’s IQ came through big vs. BOS.
6 of his 9 assists came from the 4:23 mark in the 3rd on. Promoted better ball movement by feeding the hot hand fast.

Once again Nikola Vucevic looks to be the key man in the Bulls’ matchup. Against the Sixers, Vucevic needs to be able to make Joel Embiid work on the defensive end.
In his last game against the Celtics, Vucevic contributed below his usual standards – scoring just 11 points on 5 of 11 shooting. On the plus side, he posted a near triple-double with 10 rebounds and 9 assists.
Vucevic can contribute in many ways, but least expected is on the defensive end. It’s unlikely that he’ll contain Joel Embiid, so putting in a diverse offensive performance is the next best thing.
PHI: All-Out Attack
The Philadelphia 76ers are doing an excellent job this season, despite the absence of Ben Simmons. When they face the Chicago Bulls, they’ll need to put all they can into beating one of the league’s best defences.
As with all things on the Sixers, it starts in the paint. When Philadelphia are successful at the rim early, it opens up play for their perimeter players – especially Seth Curry.
Chicago have excellent wing defenders, but they certainly don’t have a player or gameplan that can truly trouble Joel Embiid. If Philly are aggressive in the paint early, they have an excellent chance against the Eastern Conference leaders.
Sixers Key Player: (F) Georges Niang

— Philadelphia 76ers (@sixers) November 2, 2021
The Sixers have been looking for a proper stretch-four for a number of years now. After the offseason acquisition of Georges Niang, it seems they’ve finally found their man.
In his last game against the Trail Blazers, Niang posted 21 points off the bench, along with 5 rebounds, and 5 assists on 7 of 16 shooting from the field.
He won’t be a big scorer for the Sixers, or anywhere near the first option. But efficiency with his opportunities is more than enough to keep Philly competitive, as they are so undermanned.
