It's an exciting matchup at the top of the Eastern Conference when the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks face off! The Boston Celtics remain at the top of the Eastern Conference with a 41-16 overall record and an 18-9 road record. The Milwaukee Bucks are second in the East with a 39-17 overall record and an impressive 23-5 home record.
This will be the second of three meetings between the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks. The first time these two teams met, the Boston Celtics defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 118-139. The Bucks will have home-court advantage when they take on the Celtics on Tuesday night.

The Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks face off in a match with serious implications for the Eastern Conference standings. Boston have been shorthanded, but have still rattled off four wins in a row while winning six of their last 10 games. Milwaukee are on fire, winning 10 straight games before entering this game.
Despite injury, the Celtics will put forth an offence that averages 117.6 points per game (5th in the NBA) while hitting 15.8 threes per game (2nd in the NBA) on 37.7% efficiency (6th in the NBA). Over their last four games, al wins, the Celtics have averaged 115.8 points per game on 48.2% from the field and 45.5% from three. The Bucks will compete with their tough defence which allows just 111.6 points per game (7th in the NBA) on 45.4% from the field (2nd in the NBA) and 34.6% from three (5th in the NBA). Milwaukee have been locked in over the course of their 10-game winning streak, averaging 124.7 points per game on 49.7% from the field and 36.9% from three.
We're taking the Milwaukee Bucks for a number of reasons, but their form and offensive efficiency at the moment is something that can't be ignored. Add to that the fact that the Celtics will be missing key players Brown, Brogdon, and Smart and the pressure is on Boston. Against the varied attack of the Bucks, the shorthanded Celtics don't project to have a chance.
