The difference between the Phoenix Suns and the Milwaukee Bucks is painstakingly close. While the Suns carried out a dramatic comeback in Game 5, the Bucks showed their experience is enough to carry them through. While Phoenix is likely to put on one of their best efforts, home court advantage and the confidence of three-straight wins should lead the Bucks to their second NBA Championship!

The Phoenix Suns opened Game 5 with the intent to take the lead in the series once again. However, they weren’t able to maintain their effort, which made them give up their early lead and fight back for the majority of the game. To win Game 6, they need to stay consistent on both ends of the court through four quarters.
Game 5 of the NBA Finals saw the Phoenix Suns outscore the Bucks by 16 in the first quarter, but then lose the second quarter by 19. They trailed for the remainder of the game, only being able to rely on Devin Booker for long stretches.
The Suns aren’t filled with stars, but Chris Paul needs to be more effective in Game 6 if Phoenix hopes to have a chance at earning a Game 7. If Paul can get his teammates involved in the offence early, they have a good chance of forcing one last game.

The Phoenix Suns have no wiggle room anymore. With three losses the Suns are staring elimination in the face without home court advantage. Able to battle back but not secure a victory in Game 5, Devin Booker should be the one to lead the Suns in the most crucial game of their season.
In Game 5 of the NBA Finals, Devin Booker was fantastic. He posted 40 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 41 minutes of play. He shot a high volume, 17 of 33 on the evening, but was the most dangerous offensive player for the Suns all night.
While Booker was responsible for the Suns’ loss due to his late-game turnover, he can’t let it affect him in Game 6. Booker’s offensive output will be big, regardless of efficiency. How his teammates support him will determine if they’re victorious.
The Milwaukee Bucks are just one game away from their second ever NBA Championship and they certainly can’t afford to falter. With home court advantage, the Bucks are looking like the favorites in this game. As they proved in Game 5, the Bucks have the skill and experience to take home a close game.
The Bucks have done an excellent job over the last three games of not breaking when the Suns are testing their defence late. Not only are they focused on protecting their basket, but their offensive versatility has also helped their efforts. In Game 5 against the Suns, the Bucks duo of Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo contributed 21 of Milwaukee’s 23 fourth quarter points.
Phoenix are going to work as hard as they can to force a Game 7 against Milwaukee, so the Bucks must be prepared to fight off a fair amount of scoring runs from the upstart Suns. Their defence has been solid, so just keeping the game close bodes well for Milwaukee in the long run.
Living up to his name.

Just one more victory and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s legacy will be set. The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player is a single victory away from his first NBA Championship and his recent play suggests he’ll be at full strength going into Game 6.
In Game 5 against the Phoenix Suns, Antetokounmpo posted 32 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. He was brilliant, shooting 14 of 23 from the floor and didn’t commit a single turnover.
Antetokounmpo’s efficiency on the court has been giving the Suns trouble. His willingness to rebound the ball has also caused their opponents fits, despite their strength on the glass in the first two games. Near unstoppable in the paint, Antetokounmpo’s free throw shooting is the only thing he must absolutely fix going into Game 6.
