While the New Orleans Pelicans have been inconsistent with their performance, Zion Williamson has been locked in while recently hitting his stride offensively. Williamson should thrive, given the Kings’ willingness to let teams challenge them in the paint.
On the season, Williamson is averaging 23.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.9 assists on 56.7% from the field and 50.0% from three-point range. Against the Kings this season, Williamson has averaged 25.5 points on 68.8% shooting from the field. Over his last four games, Williamson has averaged 24.5 points on 65.4% from the field while clearing 25 points thrice.
Williamson has scored 25 or more points in eight of his 17 appearances this season. While he’s taken a more conservative role due to the talent on the Pelicans roster, he scored 25 or more points in both games against the Kings. Sacramento’s defense is yet to find an answer for Zion.

Harrison Barnes has been a steadying force for the Sacramento Kings. While he may not be exciting, he’s a dependable figure in every Kings lineup, so his production is expected. On the season, Barnes averages 12.3 points on 48.1% shooting from the field and 37.9% from three-point range.
Despite losing twice, Barnes has been dependable against the Pelicans by averaging 19.0 points per game on 45.5% from the field and 46.7% from three-point range. Having cleared 11.5 points in 11 of his 18 games this season, Barnes is expected to hit the over when he takes on the Pelicans.
