Monday Night Football Prop Bets: Best MNF Player Props Week 8

The Las Vegas Raiders travel to Detroit to face off against the Lions to close out Week 8. The 3-4 Raiders have started the season rougher than expected.

Injuries have killed this team, especially at the quarterback position with Jimmy Garoppolo. However, Garoppolo is expected to return to the starting lineup for this week's game.

He had missed two of the previous four games with an apparent back injury. While Garoppolo isn’t the best, he’s undoubtedly the superior option under center.

Detroit has been spectacular for the most part this season, but they have been battle-tested by injuries. Starting running back David Montgomery will miss Monday Night Football this week with a rib injury.

Look for an inspired effort from the Lions after getting dominated by the Ravens. With all of the injuries to both teams, this still will be a highly contested matchup. We’re looking at some props for this game.

NFL MNF Prop Bets Week 8

Davante Adams Over 74.5 Receiving Yards (-114) on FanDuel SportsBook

Davante Adams has been labeled as one of the best receivers in the NFL for the past five years, and even with a sub-par quarterback, he’s still making big plays.

Recently, Adams has been frustrated with his role in Las Vegas. It seems like his time with the Raiders could be coming to an end.

In Adams’ seven games this season, he has averaged 6.5 receptions and 75.4 yards per game average. He’s also managed three touchdown catches and 11.5 yards per catch in 2023.

With Garoppolo back in the mix, Adams' role should increase significantly again, and don’t be surprised if he gets in the end zone.

Detroit gives up 240 yards per game to opposing teams through the air, which is 22nd in the league. We expect Adams to be used early and often. He should clear the 74.5-yard mark with ease on Monday Night Football in Detroit.

Raiders +7.5 (-110) on FanDuel Sportsbook

Detroit showed they can’t stop the run and the deep pass last week against Baltimore. They were run all over for four quarters and took an embarrassing beating.

This Raiders team has an enormous amount of potential with Adams, Josh Jacobs, and a bounce of defensive talent.

They have all the tools necessary to be a decent team and certainly have what it takes to keep this game close.

Detroit has some impressive wins but has let teams hang around all season. The resurgence of Garoppolo and the injury-filled Detroit team should keep this game close enough to make this plausible.

Jahmyr Gibbs Over 27.5 Receiving Yards (-110) on FanDuel Sportsbook

Gibbs has been a candidate for Rookie of the Year this season. While he has missed two and a half games due to injuries, he has been extremely productive when he’s been healthy.

He had yet another opportunity to be the lead back, with Montgomery being ruled out again in week eight.

The former Georgia Tech and Alabama running back had an extremely impressive game last week in Montgomery's absence.

He had 11 carries for 68 rushing yards and nine catches for 58 receiving yards and picked up a rushing touchdown against the Ravens.

Las Vegas has been excellent against the pass, and their pass rush has also been phenomenal. When Goff gets pressured, like every other quarterback, they dump it off to the closest back, typically a running back.

We expect this to happen for the majority of the game. We also wouldn’t be shocked if we saw Gibbs get into the end zone for the second consecutive week.
