Now, let’s talk NFL parlays.
It’s no secret that the Broncos' offense is terrible. They haven’t scored more than 23 points in a game this season.
However, their defense has only allowed more than 20 points in a game three times all season.
The Ravens lack weapons, forcing quarterback Lamar Jackson to run quite a bit—he has 31 designed runs over the last three weeks.
Meanwhile, the Ravens' offense bleeds passing yards, allowing over 253 per game.
We’re not confident that Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson can take advantage of that, but we think he can do enough to at least help move the ball.
The Broncos' defense is fantastic, and while the Ravens are a good team, 8.5 points against a team that rarely allows teams to score more than 20 is too big of a number.
There are three certainties in life—death, taxes, and Aaron Rodgers beating the Chicago Bears.
The last time Rodgers lost to the Bears was in 2018, and he is 23-5 against them all time.
Rodgers is dealing with his fractured thumb but is now battling a rib injury.
Bears quarterback Justin Fields will play in this one as he also battles injury.
The Packers have eight losses and don’t appear headed to the playoffs. Still, over the past few weeks, wide receiver Christian Watson has played great, catching six touchdowns over his last three games.
The Bears gave up over 300 yards to New York Jets quarterback Mike White last week.
There’s a definite cause for concern against Fields, who’s running like mad (at least 85 yards in his past three games) and gave up over 150 last week to Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.
We’ll back Rodgers here, though—he gets it done here against a team that he, in his own words, “owns.
Instead of the point spread, we’ll look at the total and take the over.
This is the Mike McDaniel homecoming game—he was the 49ers' offensive coordinator last season.
Both teams have offenses filled with playmakers. However, there’s a clear disparity in the defenses.
The Dolphins allow over 233 passing and 110 rushing yards per game, while the 49ers allow 202 passing and less than 80 rushing per game.
However, the Dolphins' offense is one of the best in football, averaging over 386 yards per game—only the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills are better.
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and McDaniel are going to be in a chess match all game long, and these offenses should be able to score some points, even with how potent the 49ers are.
This is going to be a fantastic game.
