With both teams coming off Week 3 wins, the Cincinnati Bengals will host the Miami Dolphins.
The Bengals are coming off their first win of the season after representing the AFC in the Super Bowl for the 2021-22 season, while the Dolphins are coming off a massive win over the Buffalo Bills.
Here, we’ll look at player props for the game, which provides another avenue for wagering beyond the money line, spread, or over/under.
Spoiler: We like Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins a lot this week.
We mentioned us liking Higgins this week. This is the first of two player props we recommend coming courtesy of the Bengals receiver.
Outside of Week 1 (left game early due to a concussion), Higgins is averaging 5.5 receptions per game and had 70+ yards in Week 2 and 3.
Against the 3-0 Dolphins this week, there may be some initial hesitancy to bet on a receiver against a coverage unit that held the Bills in check. Still, there are plenty of holes in this secondary.
Side note: We can’t talk about the Dolphins and Bills Week 3 matchup without mentioning the lack of defensive starters the Bills had and the heat and fatigue it caused everyone involved.
Anyways, on the Dolphins defense, they have Xavien Howard and Nik Needham as the two starters. Despite the name recognition, Howard hasn’t been that shutdown presence, allowing six catches for 125 yards and two touchdowns this season.
On the other side, Needham has allowed six catches on seven targets for over 100 yards and a score.
Higgins will match up primarily against Needham while Howard, along with other members of the Dolphins secondary, look to keep fellow wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase in check.
Higgins will exploit this matchup and post a fantastic final stat line in this game, where the total is around 47 points.

Here we go, Higgins again.
There’s not too much more to elaborate on here after discussing his matchup, but what makes this prop so enticing is this +135 price over at FanDuel.
The Bengals offense rebounded in Week 2, and they get a soft secondary despite their win/loss total success.
We think Higgins will catch six passes, go over 100 yards, and find the end zone in this one.

Oh, man. This is going to be a juicy one.
While he may not be on the Kansas City Chiefs and longer, wide receiver Tyreek Hill will again match up against cornerback Eli Apple.
In his post-game comments after their Week 3 win, Hill took a massive shot at Apple, saying, “I can’t wait to go against Eli Apple,” Hill said. “I owe you, boy. I owe you. I’m here. The Cheetah is here. That’s it.”
That said, it won’t be every snap as the Bengals will look to roll out fellow cornerback Chidobe Awuzie, who’s played as one of the better corners this season.
Hill had a down week against the Bills, but his lowest receiving total in the two prior weeks was 94. He also saw double-digit targets in the first two weeks.
On prime time, against Apple, expect the Cheetah to run wild.
Hill goes over 100 yards in this one.
