The Buffalo Sabres (6-6) and the Carolina Hurricanes (7-5) are set for a big matchup for early bragging rights and to advance higher for the Eastern Conference.
The Hurricanes' offense ranks 10th in the league in goals per game (3.42) thanks to their fast-paced offense. Center Jesperi Kotkaniemi leads the team in points accounted for (12) and assists accounted for with seven.
There will be plenty of opportunities for the Hurricanes to get on the board thanks to the defense of the Sabres, who are allowing an average of 3.17 goals per game. This bet is going to be one of the biggest potential winnings on Tuesday as he is the most assertive offensive player for the Hurricanes.

The New Jersey Devils and the Colorado Avalanche are set for one of the biggest games this Tuesday night. The Devils are going into this game with one of the best offenses in the league as they average 3.91 goals per game. One of the biggest reasons is the tremendous play of center Jack Hughes.
Hughes, however, suffered a shoulder injury in the 4-1 loss to the St. Blues. In the one game without Hughes, the Devils were able to score four goals in the 4-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Devils can get reliable offensive performances from forwards Jesper Bratt and Tyler Toffoli but will need more offensive support with Hughes out. That player can easily be forward Erik Haula, who has accounted for five goals in 10 games this season.

The San Jose Sharks (0-10-1) are the only team in the NHL who don’t have a win due to their horrible play on both sides of the ice. Defensively, the Sharks are allowing an average of 4.91 goals per game which is easily the worst in the entire NHL.
The Philadelphia Flyers (5-6-1), on the other hand, are averaging a comfortable 3.08 goals per game as their offense is just sufficient enough to stay among some of the top teams in the league. One player who is a controlling force for the offense is defender Travis Sanheim. Sanheim has accounted for 10 points in 12 games which is second on the Flyers. He is also first on the team and assists account for (9).
