March Madness is almost here, but in the meantime, we have various NCAA Tournament games for the numerous conferences during Champ Week.

While many NCAAB teams will use this as an opportunity for an NCAA Tournament bid, we can also think of this as the “March Madness waiting room” as we wait for Selection Sunday on March 12.

Nonetheless, we have a BetMGM promo you won’t want to pass up on, especially if you’re considering betting on some CBB games this week, such as the Big Ten Championship

How to Claim Your BetMGM Promo for Championship Week

There are likely to be quite a few teams from the Big Ten that are automatic qualifiers for the NCAA Tournament. With that in mind, why not take advantage of this $1,000 risk-free bet at BetMGM to add more money to your bankroll while enjoying what should be a fairly competitive tournament?

Let’s walk through how to claim this offer.

  1. Click our exclusive link to head on over to BetMGM Sportsbook.
  2. Register for a new player account. During this process, you’ll need to provide personal information such as your name, date of birth, address, and the last four digits of your social security number.
  3. Once you complete this, make your first deposit of at least $10.
  4. Make a wager of at least $10 and no more than $1000 on the Big Ten Tournament.
  5. Wait for the results!

How the BetMGM Promo for Championship Week Work

After creating your account and depositing at least $10, we mentioned above that you’d want to make a wager of at least $10 and no more than $1,000. These are the parameters on the wager, and anything north of $1,000 won’t count toward this BetMGM $1,000 risk-free bet welcome bonus.

When you’ve made your wager, resulting in a loss, you’ll get your wager back as free bets.

Where it’s different at BetMGM is that if your wager is $50 or less, you’ll get one free bet back. However, if your bet is north of $50, you’ll get five free bets equal to 20% of the wager.

There are no wagering requirements associated with the free bets, and no BetMGM promo code is necessary to redeem this offer.

BetMGM Odds, Previews, Picks, Best Bets for Big Ten Tournament

The second day of the Big Ten Tournament features the following games:

  • Michigan vs. Rutgers
  • Iowa vs. Ohio State
  • Illinois vs. Penn State
  • Maryland vs. Minnesota

The most intriguing game from the March 9 slate is Michigan and Rutgers.

Michigan are 3.5-point “home” favorite as they take on a Rutgers squad that has proven to be one of the best defenses in college basketball, allowing just 60.4 points per game to opponents.

While their defense has been strong, their offense has had trouble getting off the ground, ranking 268th in points per game at 68.2. While they’re scoring more than they’re allowing, this puts them in a position where they cannot have an off night.

On the road against Michigan, they’re taking on a team that’s tied for 124th in the country at 73.8 points per game but allows close to 70 points per game (161st in the nation).

This is the time of year for upsets, and Rutgers has such as strong defense. Look for them to cover this 3.5-point number. College basketball on CBS is about to get even more enjoyable.
