How the Caesars Sportsbook Promo for Sunday NCAA Tournament March Madness Works

There are a few things to be aware of when taking advantage of the current Caesars Sportsbook promo code for March Madness. Bettors are required to wager at least $10 on their first bet to get their first bet on Caesars for up to $1,250. That means that bettors also need to make an initial deposit of at least $10 so that they can place a bet that is eligible for this Caesars Sportsbook NCAAB offer.

Bettors will also only have their first bet amount reimbursed in the form of bonus bets if their first bet loses. This means that if a bettor places their first wager on March Madness on CBS, or any other network on which the tournament is airing, they will not receive any site credit if their first bet is graded as a winner. However, bettors would receive their winnings if their first bet were to win, which would be a positive in itself.

Caesars Sportsbook Odds, Previews, Picks, Best Bets for Sunday NCAA Tournament March Madness

Going into March Madness second round action on Sunday, there is only one double-digit favorite on the board. That would be Florida Atlantic, who expected to face Purdue in the second round. Instead, they are going to be matched up with 16-seed Fairleigh Dickinson, who shocked the world by beating a Purdue team that was expected to contend for a spot in the Final Four this year.

While that game could generate more intrigue than any other NCAA Tournament second round contest, as a 16-seed looks to make the Sweet 16 for the first time, the best game of the day could end up being Saint Mary’s vs UConn. UConn is favored by 3.5 points in that contest, in which the winner will make it to the second weekend of March Madness.

When it comes to this contest, the key will be whether the Gaels are able to overcome the sheer size of the Huskies. UConn is long at the guard spots, and they have a force of nature in the paint in Adama Sanogo as well. It is hard to see the undersized frontcourt of Saint Mary’s being able to cope with UConn’s size, and we like the Huskies to advance to the Sweet 16 in front of a very pro-UConn crowd in Albany, New York.

Also intriguing will be the second round matchup between Xavier and Pittsburgh on Sunday. Xavier barely avoided an upset at the hands of 14-seed Kennesaw State on Friday afternoon, thanks to a controversial no-call on one of the final possessions of the game for Kennesaw State. They come into this game as five-point favorites over a Pitt team that has been impressive so far during this tournament.

The Pitt Panthers had to battle their way through the First Four to start their tournament campaign, beating Mississippi State. They followed that up with a dominant performance over the Iowa State Cyclones, in a game where Pitt locked Iowa State down from start to finish with their defense. Now, Pitt’s defense will look for a third straight excellent performance to reach the Sweet 16.

From a betting perspective, it is hard not to like Pitt here, as they clearly have momentum on their side going into this matchup. Expect the Panthers to come up big on the defensive end again, and for Xavier’s woes to continue after a less than convincing performance in round one. We like the Panthers plus the five points in this second round showdown.
