“Rudeboy” Randy Brown is currently on a two fight winning streak after snatching a first round submission vs Alex Oliveira and a unanimous decision vs Jared Gordon. While Randy Brown is undoubtedly the more experienced and technical fighter in this matchup, Khaos Williams has shown in the past that he only needs to land one clean shot on the chin and it’s lights out for his opponent. Brown’s most recent losses were both by knockout, including one via hammerfists from bottom position vs Niko Price in 2018. Khaos Williams has so far won three fights by KO in the UFC, with two of those coming in the first round.

Our Pick

Khaos Williams via KO/TKO/DQ in round 1 (+350)

Macy Chiasson vs Norma Dumont – Women’s Featherweight Division

Very good matchup here between two technically gifted fighters who like to mix up all three elements of MMA. Macy Chiasson stacked up two decision wins over Shanna Young and Marion Reneau before more recently suffering a second round TKO loss to Raquel Pennington. Meanwhile, Norma Dumont lost her UFC debut to a much taller Megan Anderson via elbow KO in the first round before going on to win her next three UFC fights in a row, all by way of judges decision. She has defeated Ashlee Evans Smith, Felicia Spencer as well as Aspen Ladd.

Our Pick

Norma Dumont via judges decision (+100)

Brandon Royval vs Matt Christopher Schnell – Flyweight Division

Brandon “Raw Dawg“ Royval TALE OF THE TAPE Matt “Danger” Schnell

Brandon Royval went on a two fight winning streak when he joined the UFC defeating very high level opposition in Tim Elliot and Kai Kara France before suffering back to back defeats to Brandon Moreno and Alexandre Pantoja. Royval got back in the win column in his last UFC outing after defeating Rogerio Bontorin via split decision back in January. Matt Schnell also faced Bontorin in his last fight but lost via unanimous decision. Both fighters have displayed finishing ability more than once in the UFC against strong opposition and both possess high level grappling and striking skills.

Our Pick

Brandon Royval via KO/TKO/DQ in round 1 (+600)

Marcos Rogerio De Lima vs Blagoy Ivanov – Heavyweight Division

Marcos “Pezao” Rogerio De Lima  TALE OF THE TAPE Blagoy “Baga” Ivanov

Blagoy Ivanov has proven to UFC fans over the years that he can hang in there with the top guys in the division with decision wins over Ben Rothwell and Tai Tuivasa, as well as split decision losses to Derrick Louis and Augusto Sakai. Ivanov, a former Sambo world champion, has not produced a finish since 2017 before he joined the UFC, however he has also never been knocked out in his career so far. Marcos Rogerio De Lima on the other hand is a prolific finisher with multiple first round finishes. Despite his undeniable KO power, De Lima has also been finished several times in his UFC career by way of submission, a weakness that Ivanov, who has multiple submission wins on his record, will surely be looking to exploit.

Our Pick

Blagoy Ivanov via submission in round 1 (+1000)

Francisco Trinaldo vs Danny Roberts – Welterweight Division

Former lightweight Francisco Trinaldo currently holds a record of 1-1 with a KO loss to Muslim Salikhov and a split decision win over Dwight Grant. His opponent Danny “Hot Chocolate” Roberts, who is a natural Welterweight, is currently on a two fight winning streak with a knockout win over Zelim Imadaev back in 2019 followed by a split decision win over Ramazan Emeev last October. Roberts’s most recent loss came at the hands of Michel Pereira who ended the fight in round one with a flying knee followed by ground strikes. While Roberts is the younger fighter, Trinaldo has been the more active fighter out of the two in recent years and this should give him the edge in this bout.

Our Pick

Francisco Trinaldo via KO/TKO/DQ in round 1 (+900)

Tracy Cortez vs Melissa Gatto – Women’s Flyweight Division

Tracy Cortez TALE OF THE TAPE Melissa Gatto

Fantastic women’s Flyweight fight here featuring the undefeated Melissa Gatto and Tracy Cortez, who hasn’t lost a fight since her MMA debut back in 2017. Cortez is a very well rounded fighter who utilizes all elements of MMA during her fights, however she is yet to finish an opponent and has won two of her fights via close split decisions. Meanwhile, Gatto earned half of her wins via finish and is on a three fight finishing streak including a submission, a doctor’s stoppage and most recently a body kick KO over Sijara Eubanks. Both fighters possess high level grappling skills, however Cortez will look to control the fight while Gatto will be hunting for a finish.

Our Pick

Melissa Gatto via submission in round 2 (+1600)

Kleydson Rodriguez vs CJ Vergara – Flyweight Division

Kleydson “KR” Rodriguez TALE OF THE TAPE C.J. Vergara

Kleydson Rodriguez is a huge Flyweight division prospect who enters the UFC with great momentum coming off a six fight win streak, mostly consisting of finishes. He, like many others on this card, including his opponent, joined the UFC via the contender series where he defeated Santo Curatolo via unanimous decision. C.J. Vergara also entered the UFC with momentum on his side, bringing with him a five fight winning streak, all of which were finishes. Vergara ultimately ended up losing his debut to Jamaican fighter Ode Osbourne via unanimous decision. This will be a fun fight to watch and both fighters will be looking for a finish at all times.

Our Pick

Kleydson Rodriguez via KO/TKO/DQ in round 1 (+400)

Ariane Carnelossi vs Lupita Godinez – Women’s Strawweight Division

Ariane “Sorriso” Carnelossi TALE OF THE TAPE Lupita “Loopy” Godinez

Airane Carnelossi enters this bout on a streak of two back to back finishes and possesses knockout power in both hands as well as overall athleticism. “Loopy” Godinez’s most recent UFC outing resulted in a unanimous decision victory over Looma Lookboonmee and so far she has gone 2-2 in the promotion. This is a super close matchup where most likely Carnelossi will look for an early finish while Godinez will try to control her opponent with grappling and tire her out for a late finish or judges decision.

Our Pick

Ariane Carnelossi via KO/TKO/DQ in round 1 (+1200)

Journey Newson vs Fernie Garcia – Featherweight Division

Journey Newson TALE OF THE TAPE Fernie Garcia

Journey Newson has not had any luck in the UFC so far, suffering two defeats and a no contest due to a positive marijuana test and will be looking to turn that around in this fight. Meanwhile Fernie Garcia brings a five fight winning streak into this bout which will be his promotional debut. Garcia joined the UFC after impressing Dana White on the contender series show where he defeated Joshua Weems via TKO in round one. Expect both fighters to look for an early finish in this bout.

Our Pick

Fernie Garcia via KO/TKO/DQ in round 1 (+1100)
