Napoli unveil new signing Gökhan Inler as a Lion (Video)

Nobody seems to understand why Inler was made to wear a lion mask in his Napoli unveiling. The Turkish/ Swiss center midfielder officially announced his transfer (July 11th) from Udinese to Napoli in a €13 million deal agreed earlier in May 2011. Inler played a big part in helping Udinese to a fourth place in Serie A and a Champions League playoff spot. The new no. 88 is a fantastic player and will help Napoli compete in years to come. Remember last year when Spain actually lost a game in the World Cup South Africa? Yeah, Inler captained that Swiss team.
The lion ordeal was obviously some strange scheme put on by Napoli chairman and Italian filmmaker Aurelio De Laurentiis. The whole pointing thing is also puzzling. Anyways, keep it up #88.
