Best MLB Player Props October 19

With today being the first day of June, we thought we’d do something special. That’s why we put together multiple parlays for Saturday’s MLB action. One is a two-leg parlay based on the result of two games while the other is a four-leg same-game parlay. The odds are from Caesars Sportsbook, which is offering new users a no-sweat bet of up to $1,000 for their first wager.

Best MLB Parlay Bets: Angels vs Mariners (7:15 PM, EST)

Mariners ML (-170) at Caesars

Picking the first-place Mariners to beat the last-place Angels is as simple as it gets. The Angels have just one win in their last seven games that Reid Detmers has started, which is a good sign for Seattle since the lefty has a 5.76 ERA. Meanwhile, Bryce Miller is having a solid if unspectacular season with a 3.48 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP. He’ll face a Los Angeles lineup that’s scored four runs or less in eight straight games, going 2-6 during that span, making the Mariners a safe pick.

Best MLB Parlay Bets: Reds vs Cubs (7:15 PM, EST)

Reds ML (+115) at Caesars

While the Reds are road underdogs in this game, we have a good feeling about them. The Cubs are yet to win this season with Justin Steele on the mound, as the lefty has had a dreadful year. They also ended May with just one win in their last nine games, so this is the coldest team in baseball right now. On the other side, the Reds have their ace Hunter Greene on the mound. They’ve also won five of their last seven games to finish off May. Greene has limited opponents to two runs or less in five of his last six starts, including back-to-back quality starts against the mighty Dodgers, so we think he can handle the Cubs and lead Cincinnati to a win.

Best MLB Parlay Bets: Cardinals vs Phillies (7:15 PM, EST)

Sonny Gray 6+ Strikeouts (-160) at Caesars

Gray has been one of the most consistent pitchers when it comes to strikeouts. In his nine starts, he’s failed to reach six strikeouts just once. Keep in mind he’s fresh off an outing in which he recorded eight strikeouts in just five innings. His track record against Philly hitters is also quite impressive. For example, he’s struck out Bryce Harper nine times in 18 career at-bats. He should have no problem reaching at least six strikeouts on Saturday.

Ranger Suarez 5+ Strikeouts (-280) at Caesars

On the season, Suarez is averaging over a strikeout per inning, so getting to five shouldn’t be a problem for him. He’s had just two starts this year in which he hasn’t hit the five-strikeout threshold. More importantly, the lefty has 19 strikeouts over his last two starts and at least nine strikeouts in three of his last four starts. That makes this a safe number to include in our parlay.

Masyn Winn Over 0.5 Hits (-224) at Caesars

The average fan may not be familiar with the new St. Louis shortstop, but Winn is a good player. The 22-year-old is batting .306 and should match up favorably against a lefty like Suarez. Winn went 0 for 1 as a pinch-hitter on Friday, ending a 16-game hitting streak. As long as he’s in the starting lineup, he’s a safe bet to get at least one hit, which is why we wanted to make him a part of our parlay.

Brandon Marsh Over 0.5 Hits (-151) at Caesars

While he has just two career at-bats against Gray, Marsh got a hit both times. He’s also been a consistent and underrated part of the Philly lineup all season. Marsh is also 4 for 10 with a pair of doubles over the last week, so he’s in a good place right now and should manage one measly hit on Saturday.

Total Parlay Odds: +470 at Caesars Sportsbook
