Our MLB parlay for Thursday consists of two moneyline bets and a total. Our biggest risk on the ticket is the under in the Cubs vs. Reds game.
Javier Assad and Hunter Greene are the pitchers we’re trusting to get outs. Both pitchers have been spectacular and have great strikeout ability.

Atlanta takes on Washington in the first game of this very important divisional series. Only six games separate these two teams in the division. The Braves are 34-25 in second place, while the Nationals are 27-34 in third place in the NL East.
Atlanta is starting Reynaldo Lopez who is 3-2 with a 1.73 ERA. He has 55 strikeouts in 57.1 innings. Lopez was excellent in his last start as he went six innings only allowing one run.
Washington is going with Mitchell Parker who is 4-3 with a 3.60 ERA. He has 43 strikeouts in 50 innings along with a 1.14 WHIP.
We expect the Braves to score runs off Parker early in this matchup. Atlanta is looking to gain a few games in the standings and this is the series to make it happen.
The Braves lost Ronald Acuna Jr. for the season due to a torn ACL, but they still have a ton of players who can produce on offense.
Look for Atlanta’s offense to wake up after getting shut out by the Red Sox yesterday.

Chicago takes on Cincinnati in a key divisional matchup Thursday night. The Cubs are 30-31 in second place in the NL Central. The Reds are 29-33 trailing Milwaukee by seven games in the division.
The Cubs are going with Javier Assad who is 4-1 with a 2.27 ERA. He has struck out 61 batters in 63.1 innings.
In his last start he went 5.1 innings allowing two runs off two hits. Assad has been a great pitcher to follow ace Shota Imanaga for the Cubs.
The Reds are starting Hunter Greene who is 3-2 with a 3.44 ERA. He has 76 strikeouts in 70.2 innings. Greene’s strikeout ability has been a big part in his success this year.
With a matchup that consists of two starting pitchers with great strikeout ability, it’s a great idea to take the under.
We’re expecting limited runs with two strong starting pitchers.
Bet on Under 9 (-110) at FanDuel
The Red Sox are 31-31 and trail the Yankees by 12 games in the AL East. The White Sox are 15-46 in last place in the AL Central.
Boston is starting Tanner Houck who is 5-5 with a 1.85 ERA. He has struck out 75 batters in 78 innings. In his last start, he went seven innings allowing just one run on three hits.
Chicago is going with Jake Woodford who is 0-1 with a 6.23 ERA. He has only started one game this year and went 4.1 innings allowing three runs and five hits.
Chicago has been the worst team in baseball all season. They’re last in team batting average hitting .215 in 2024.
Expect Houck and the Boston bats to handle Chicago with ease to finish the parlay.
