Best NRFI Bets Today: Fade These Offenses On Thursday
There are only seven games on Thursday, but two NRFI bets are valuable. The first NRFI we’re taking is in Brewers vs. Dodgers.
The second NRFI we are selecting is in the Braves vs. Giants matchup. Max Fried squares off against Logan Webb, and this should be an excellent pitching duel. bet365 is one of the best sportsbooks for MLB betting.
As a special offer, bet365 Sportsbook gives new users a $1,000 safety net bet or $150 in bonus bets. This exclusive deal is available only through our exclusive link.
Best NRFI Bets Today: Dodgers vs. Brewers (2:10 PM, EST)
1st Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-115) at bet365
The first NRFI we are taking on Thursday features Jack Flaherty and the Dodgers against Tobias Myers and the Brewers. Los Angeles is 71-49 with a three-game lead on Arizona in the NL West. Milwaukee is 67-52 in first place in the NL Central.
Flaherty comes into this matchup at 9-5 with a 2.97 ERA. He has 150 strikeouts in 118.1 innings and a 1.00 WHIP. In Flaherty’s last three starts, he has gone 17.2 innings, allowing four runs with 23 strikeouts.
Myers is 6-5 with a 2.79 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP. In his last three games, he has allowed two runs in 16.1 innings with 16 strikeouts.
The Dodgers are hitting .252 in 2024, the 11th best in baseball. Shohei Ohtani leads Los Angeles in almost every category, hitting .297 with 37 home runs and 86 RBIs.
The Brewers are hitting .255 as a team, which is the sixth-best in baseball. They have gotten most of their production from William Contreras, who is hitting .285 with 69 RBIs.
Despite both teams performing well on offense, we trust the starting pitching in this matchup. Flaherty and Myers have been very good this season and are coming off great performances.
Look for both starters to go deep into this game and shut down the offenses to cash our first NRFI.
Best NRFI Bets Today: Braves vs. Giants (3:45 PM, EST)
1st Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-145) at bet365
Atlanta comes into their matchup against the Giants at 63-56 in second place in the NL East. San Francisco is 61-61 in fourth place in the NL West.
Max Fried takes the mound for the Braves, and he is 7-6 with a 3.56 ERA. He has fanned 110 batters in 116.1 innings and has a 1.24 WHIP. In his last game, he allowed four runs on seven hits in five innings of work.
The Giants are going with Logan Webb who is 10-8 with an ERA of 3.32. He has struck out 133 batters in 157 innings and is looking to dominate Atlanta. Webb is a much better pitcher at home compared to road games, as he is 6-3 with a 2.49 ERA in his own ballpark.
Atlanta's team batting average is .241, the 17th best in 2024. Marcell Ozuna is having a tremendous season, hitting .301 with 35 home runs and 90 RBIs.
San Francisco is right in front of the Braves in the rankings, hitting .242 as a team. Matt Chapman leads the team in batting average, home runs, and RBIs. Mike Yastrzemski has also contributed at the plate, hitting .246 with nine home runs.
With both offenses being average in 2024, we are confident that Fried and Webb will take care of business in this game.
To cash this NRFI, Fried, and Webb are going to have to limit the walks in the first inning and pitch to contact. The NRFI has already hit in the first two games of this series, and we expect this trend to continue into Thursday.
