The Texas Rangers will face the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday night, and sportsbooks expect runs to be scored. However, we like the NRFI in this matchup because of the starting pitchers going for both sides. Jon Gray will throw for Texas against Brayan Bello for Boston. Both pitchers have been very effective in every facet of the game this season. Gray has been consistent all year, while Bello continues to improve his game.

Gray is 6-4 with a 3.21 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP. He has allowed just 67 hits in 87 innings this season. Gray’s issue is that he isn’t overpowering, so it can be dangerous when he misses. Nevertheless, he has proven that he can hit spots all over the plate and attack batters. Bello is 5-5 with a 3.08 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP. Over 73 innings, he has allowed 65 hits with just seven home runs.

The NRFI is plus money in this spot because Texas and Boston have two of the best offenses in the game. Although, it’s worth taking a chance on this side of the line, as the plus money is too good to pass with these star wings. There should be runs scored in this game, but hopefully, it takes the offense time to lock in because of the talent between these two arms.

Baltimore Orioles vs New York Yankees - Dean Kremer (RHP) vs Randy Vasquez (LHP)

Under 0.5 Runs (+100 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

The Orioles and Yankees' total is set at 9.5 runs on Wednesday night, and it should be as these offenses have hit throughout this series. Nevertheless, the NRFI is very appealing at its current plus-money price for a few reasons. Randy Vasquez will take the ball for the Yankees, and he only has 10.1 innings on the mound in 2023. Although, Vasquez has been lights out in that time, with a 1.74 ERA and a 0.97 WHIP. He hasn’t thrown enough innings for bookmakers to respect his ability, which is one reason the total is high.

Dean Kremer will pitch for Baltimore, but he hasn’t been great this season. The pitcher is 8-4 with a 5.04 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP. Over 91 innings, he has allowed 105 hits with 19 home runs. Kremer misses spots, and opposing offenses have made him pay in 2023. The positive for Kremer is that Aaron Judge is still injured, and New York is less effective without their captain.

The Yankees' offense is sparing without Judge, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Kremer come out strong and pitch well early. For another plus-money price, the Orioles vs Yankees NRFI is worth testing. If you play this, along with the Rangers vs Red Sox NRFI, you’ll profit if one of the bets hit.

Chicago Cubs vs Milwaukee Brewers - Justin Steele (LHP vs Adrian Houser (RHP)

Under 0.5 Runs Scored in First Inning (-118 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

The Cubs and Brewers haven’t won with their offense this season. Neither team jumps off the stat sheet for offensive firepower, which makes the NRFI appealing in this spot. Justin Steele will pitch for the Cubs, and he has been fantastic this season. The left-hander is 9-2 with a 2.43 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP. Over 85.1 innings, he has allowed just 69 hits with and three homers. Home runs are the quickest way to destroy an NRFI, and Steele shuts these big swings down.

Adrian House is the shakier pitcher of the two on Wednesday night. He is 3-2 with a 3.88 ERA and a 1.51 WHIP. Over 46.1 innings, he has allowed 56 hits with 30 walks. Houser’s numbers aren’t great, but Chicago’s offense hasn’t been anything special on the road in 2023. If Houser can keep the ball down early, there is a great chance he gets through the first inning clean. We trust Steele to finish the job in the bottom of the first inning.
