Las Vegas will host the final round of the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series’ regular season.
After 25 races, the field is very much set for the postseason.
Barring a win from a driver outside the bubble, which is highly unlikely, the top 2 drivers are already safe on the points countback.
This means that the drivers will be racing for extra points in the Round of 12.
Any additional help in the early stages of the postseason is always welcome.
So, even with the field already set, the Las Vegas race will provide some excitement.
What: 2019 Rhino Pro Outfitters 300
Where: Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, NV
When: Saturday, September 14th at 7:30 PM EST

Christopher Bell has a solid career record at Las Vegas.
He had a sixth and a second place finish in two Truck Series starts at the track.
Moving up to the Xfinity Series, the Joe Gibbs driver scored a pole and finished second in the March 2018 race.
Bell finished fourth in last year’s edition of the Rhino Pro Outfitters 300.
Despite only managing a 13th place in this year’s March race, #20’s strong form still makes him the early favorite.
Bell is tied for the series’ lead in wins this season with six.
He came close to adding a seventh one last time out at Indianapolis, but a late crash while fighting for the lead ended his chances.
The Joe Gibbs driver is second in points and has only missed out on the top 5 twice in the last ten races.

Cole Custer also has a solid career record at Las Vegas.
He scored a third place finish in his only Truck Series start at the track.
Moving up to the Xfinity Series, the Stewart-Haas driver scored three top 10 finishes in four starts.
Custer started last year’s edition of the September race from the pole and finished third.
He again started from the top spot in March this year, eventually finishing ninth.
The Stewart-Haas driver is tied for the series’ lead in wins with six this season.
Custer is currently third in the standings.

As it usually happens, Tyler Reddick completes the sweep for the Big Three.
The reigning Xfinity Series champion is a past race winner at Vegas.
Reddick scored his final win in the Truck Series at the Sin City oval.
The Richard Childress driver, however, does not have a particularly great record in the Xfinity Series.
Reddick has two DNFs in three starts, his other result being an eighth place finish.
That being said, the 2018 champion has already shown that he can perform well at any track.
He is the current points leader with four wins, 19 top 5 and 21 top 10 finishes.

Justin Allgaier has plenty of experience at Las Vegas.
The Xfinity veteran has ten starts at the track in the series, with another two in the Cup Series.
And while he has never won at Vegas, the JR Motorsports driver does have a decent record.
Allgaier has four top 5s and eight top 10s, including two second place finishes.
The JR Motorsports driver is still chasing after his first win of the season.
He almost did it in Indianapolis, finishing a close second behind Kyle Busch.
Allgaier is fifth in points with ten top 5 and 17 top 10 finishes.
He is currently riding a streak of nine consecutive results inside the top 10.

John Hunter Nemechek was the highest finisher in the March race among the Xfinity regulars.
He finished second behind Kyle Busch.
It was a career-high finish for Nemechek at Vegas, his previous best being a fourth place in the Truck Series.
The GMS Racing driver had a strong start to the season but has faced a drop in performance.
Nemechek only has two top 5 finishes in the last ten races and failed to crack into the top 20 in the past three.
The bad run has dropped him down to 11th in points with four top 5 and 12 top 10 finishes.

Noah Gragson finished third in March, right behind Nemechek.
It remained as his best result until round 13 at Michigan, where he finished second.
The rookie had a slow start to the season, scoring only three top 10 finishes in the first ten races.
Gragson turned his season around in round 11 at Charlotte, scoring his second top 5 of the season.
The JR Motorsports driver has only missed out on the top 10 twice in 14 starts since then.
He is coming off a strong run at Indianapolis, where he finished third.
Gragson is seventh in points with seven top 5 and 16 top 10 finishes.
The Xfinity rookie is still chasing after his first win in the series.
