The 2019 NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series now heads over to Richmond Motor Speedway. This weekend’s race features some interesting matchups. As some drivers come into the round in top form, there is room for upsets.
Here are some picks you should consider betting on for this round.
What: Toyota Owners 400
Where: Richmond Motor Speedway in Richmond, VA
When: Saturday, April 13th at 7:30 PM EST
How: Fox Sports 1 (TV) | Motor Racing Network (Web radio)
This is one of the closest matchups for this race.
Kurt Busch is the early season sensation, transitioning well into Chip Ganassi Racing.
Clint Bowyer meanwhile is on the rise, scoring three top 10 finishes in sequence.
The former teammates have won twice each at Richmond.
While this one might go down to the wire, Busch was a legit contender at Bristol.
Given his form up until now, the Chip Ganassi driver is the pick for this matchup.
Pick: Kurt Busch.

Kyle Larson’s form hasn’t been particularly great this season.
The Chip Ganassi driver is struggling to bounce back from his drop in performance last year.
Larson is hoping for a spark as he returns to the sight of his most recent Cup series victory.
Denny Hamlin is a three-time winner at his home track.
The Joe Gibbs Racing driver is battling teammate Kyle Busch for the points lead.
With two wins to his name this season, Hamlin is in top form.
The #11 had a strong run of three top 5 finishes in the last four races at the track.
Hamlin and Larson usually do well at Richmond.
However, given Hamlin’s current form, he is the better pick for the matchup.
Pick: Denny Hamlin.
The odds will be updated as they are made available.
Matchups featuring teammates are always interesting to watch.
That’s especially true when it comes to the Penske Racing pairing.
Both drivers have won races this season.
Keselowski is the only driver besides Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin with two wins.
However, the 2012 Cup series champion has failed to finish inside the top 10 since his dominant run at Martinsville.
While Logano has struggled for consistency, his results have been slightly better during that stretch.
Looking at their recent history at Richmond, Logano also holds the advantage.
The reigning series champion has one win and three top 5 finishes to his teammate’s two top five finishes.
As close as it might be, Logano has the edge right now.
Pick: Joey Logano.

Ryan Blaney is on a roll right now.
The Team Penske driver has four top 5 finishes in the last five races.
He could have made it five out of five, but an engine issue ended his strong run at Texas.
Kevin Harvick is still trying to win his first race of the season.
This is his second longest drought to start a season since the move to Stewart-Haas Racing.
The 2012 Cup series champion hasn’t struggled for pace though, scoring six top 10 with three top 5 finishes.
Richmond isn’t one of Blaney’s best tracks, his career best finish at the track being an 18th place.
Harvick scored five top 5 finishes over the past three years at the track.
While it might seem an uphill climb, Blaney’s momentum could create an upset.
Penske usually does well at Richmond, and the #12 could be in for a career high finish at the track.
Pick: Ryan Blaney.
The odds will be updated as they are made available.
