NBA Props February 02

For the NBA's exciting Thursday night schedule, we're keeping an eye on some key perimeter players when the matches tip-off!

When the Los Angeles Lakers and Indiana Pacers face each other, LeBron James' non-scoring production will be key in his pursuit of a double-double. For Ayo Dosunmu, he'll hope the pace of the Charlotte Hornets will help him and his Chicago Bulls' offensive aspirations. And RJ Barrett's passing game is under the microscope when his New York Knicks play the Miami Heat.

Let's check out the bets!

Despite being 38 years old, LeBron James continues to be one of the NBA's most impressive all-around contributors. At Caesars Sportsbook, James is a +100 to earn a double-double when he takes on the Indiana Pacers.

On the season, LeBron James has averaged 30.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 7.1 assists on 50.5% from the field and 31.0% from three-point range. Over his last five games, James has been excellent, averaging 34.4 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 8.2 assists on 50.0% from the field and 42.6% from three-point range.

James has the ability to get a double-double with any combination of points, rebounds, and assists - he's that talented. Considering he's collected a double-double in three of his last five games, expect his activity and drive for the scoring record to help him clear the prop.

Charlotte Hornets @ Chicago Bulls: Best Prop Bets

Ayo Dosunmu is definitely what you'd consider a more defensive player, but against the Hornets, his scoring ability will be the focus. At DraftKings Sportsbook, he's a +100 to clear 9.5 points when he faces the Chicago Bulls.

On the season, Dosunmu is averaging 9.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.7 assists on 50.4% from the field and 31.7% from the three-point range. Over his last five games, Dosunmu has been a tad inconsistent as he's averaged 7.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.0 assists on 48.3% from the field and 20.0% from range.

While his recent play hasn't been encouraging, Dosunmu has averaged 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists on 50.9% true shooting in two games against the Hornets. The pace of play that the Hornets set should suit Dosunmu's athleticism, which should do plenty to help him clear 9.5.

Miami Heat @ New York Knicks: Best Prop Bets

RJ Barrett Assists O 2.5 (+125) @ bet365

RJ Barrett looks to continue his stellar fourth-year season, as the Knicks aim to earn automatic qualification for the NBA Playoffs. At bet365, Barrett is a +125 to clear 2.5 assists when he takes on the Miami Heat.

On the season, Barrett is averaging 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists on 43.3% from the field and 34.0% from the three-point range. He's been struggling in recent games, averaging just 20.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.2 steals on 45.5% from the field and 46.2% from deep through his last five games.

Barrett hasn't faced the Heat yet this season, but they're known for their tremendous defense. Having cleared 2.5 assists in 22 of his 46 appearances this season, Barrett is likely to engage his playmaking given the Heat's stalwart defense. The success of his playmaking is sure to determine the Knicks' chances in this game - against the Heat, he'll have little choice but to be effective with his passing.
