Best NBA Prop Bets Today November 9

Giannis Antetokounmpo over 44.5 points+rebounds+assists (-113) at FanDuel

The Milwaukee experiment isn’t going as intended so far. Even though they’re 5-2 and won five straight games, their offense isn’t as free-flowing as many thought it would be, and the defense still doesn’t appear to be on the same page. Giannis, as the best player, needs to be prepared to step up on the second night of a back-to-back.

We like the Greek Freak’s chances of going over in part because he was ejected early last night and will have lots of energy and reason to come out playing inspired basketball. The Pacers also play at a quick tempo and score a ton of points, which means Giannis will have to be ready to stuff the box score.

Tyrese Haliburton over 11.5 assists (-122) at FanDuel

Haliburton leads the league with 11.9 assists per night and has hit the over in five of his last six games, including the 13 assists he recorded against the Jazz on Wednesday. The Pacers have the best offensive rating in the league, and Haliburton is the primary catalyst of that.

The Bucks, as we mentioned, are struggling on defense and rank 25th in field goal percentage allowed. Haliburton is capable of picking apart these mistakes and putting his teammates in scoring positions, which means he has a great chance to go over.

Benedict Mathurin over 12.5 points (-125) at FanDuel

Mathurin scored nearly 17 points per night in his rookie season but is down to 12.4 in the young season. That said, he shot 50% from the field in his last two outings and put up 22 against the Jazz yesterday.

The 21-year-old is an important player on the Pacers but won’t get the primary defender, nor will he draw the length of Giannis or Brook Lopez. Watch for him to exploit mismatches with Malik Beasley, Pat Connaughton, and anyone else who matches up with him.

Trae Young under 23.5 points (-106) at FanDuel

Young was touted as the next Steph Curry when he entered the league, but he’s shown very little development in his jumper and is shooting only 33.6% from the field and 27.3% from three. Those probably won’t hold, but it’s safe to say he hasn’t hit the ground running this season.

Young has gone over 23 points just one time in seven games. He’s still averaged 21.7 points per game, but his 10.4 assists per night and increased defensive focus are both more central to Quin Snyder’s system.

Jalen Johnson over 8.5 rebounds (+106) at FanDuel

The only player on the Hawks that averages more rebounds per game than Johnson is Clint Capela. Johnson, now in his third year, has snatched 8.9 boards per night and at least 11 in three straight contests.

The Magic are 22nd in shooting percentage and about league average in shooting defense, which means Johnson will have chances on both the offensive and defensive glass.
