The Indiana Pacers and Atlanta Hawks played one of the highest-scoring games ever, one that ended with the Pacers on top 157-152, while LeBron James scored his 39,000th point in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 32-point win against the Utah Jazz.

Here are our favorite NBA player prop picks for Wednesday.

Best NBA Prop Bets Today November 22

Jayson Tatum over 28.5 points (-111)

The Boston Celtics are taking on the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday in a potential Eastern Conference Finals preview. Tatum heads into the matchup averaging 28.2 points and fresh off scoring 45 against the Charlotte Hornets the last time he took the court.

The 25-year-old hit the over six times in 11 games this month and has been great against the Bucks recently, putting up 40+ points in three of their last four meetings and cashing the over in five of six. The Celtics are also at home and have a built-in advantage.

Cam Johnson over 2.5 threes (+100)

Buy low, sell high. That’s the approach we’re taking with Johnson, who has attempted a career-high 6.5 threes per game but is shooting a career-low 33.3% from beyond the arc (though he made 3+ threes in three of his last five games).

The Hawks were part of the instant-classic against the Pacers last night and are going to be zapped of energy. They already didn’t defend the three well and now rank 26th in opponent three-point shooting percentage, and Johnson has the perfect opportunity to get himself back on track by burying a few open looks against a defense that’s a step slow.

James Harden over 2.5 threes (+150)

Harden is taking 5.8 threes per game, but three of his last four games have either set or tied season-highs for threes attempted. The takeaway is that he’s becoming more aggressive and comfortable in the Los Angeles Clippers’ offense and should start to deliver bigger numbers as his shooting percentage normalizes.

LA stomped the San Antonio Spurs 124-99 when they met a couple of days ago and has a chance to win its third straight game. The Spurs are 28th in defensive rating and allow opponents to shoot the second-best percentage from three-point land, and we like Harden’s chances here.

Joel Embiid over 29.5 points

There are no odds available for this line at the time of writing, but all other major sportsbooks have placed Embiid’s line at 29.5 points. He dropped 32 last night but fouled out during a three-point overtime loss to a strong Cleveland Cavaliers team and he has now scored 30+ in six of his last seven games.

The Timberwolves are excellent on defense and rank second in defensive rating, but Embiid is capable of scoring on anyone or just drawing fouls and going to the free throw line. He also scored 39 and 32 points in the Sixers’ two meetings with the Wolves last year and he hit the over in three of his last four games against Rudy Gobert.

Luka Doncic over 30.5 points (-113)

Luka is third in the league in scoring at 30.6 points per night despite failing to hit 30+ in three of his last four games. But we’re not worried about the Slovenian superstar, who is shooting career-bests from the field (50%) and from beyond the arc (42.2%) and scored 30+ in three of his last four games against the Lakers.

The Lakers played last night and while they were able to get their starters on the bench in the third quarter on account of them blowing out the Jazz, they still played. Dallas was resting and has not played since Sunday, and they’ll also have the motivation of losing three of their last four games.
