The Milwaukee Bucks are both jockeying for position in the Eastern Conference table. With both sides coming off of a loss, this will be a desperate game for each team to return to the winning track. It should be exciting, with one of the league's best offensive teams taking one of its best defenses.
The Milwaukee Bucks have generated one of the league's best offenses through eight games. The Bucks' offensive prowess is their best weapon, posting 118.0 points per game on 47.7% shooting from the field and 36.5% from three on 13.5 made per game. Their efficiency in scoring the ball is further supported as they're the top team at reaching the charity stripe line with 29.3 free throw attempts per game.
The duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard combined for 52.4 points per game, each dealing their damage from different court areas. However, both are getting to the free throw line at least ten times per game. The Bucks have cleared 232.0 in seven of their contests through eight matches.
The Orlando Magic are much more subdued on the offensive side of the ball, using their youth and versatility to power one of the league's most impressive defenses. Scoring just 109.9 points per game on 45.7% from the field and 32.5% from three, Orlando has found victory on the defensive end. Allowing just 107.3 points per game while forcing 17.1 turnovers, Orlando creates more opportunities with their rugged defensive standards.
While this is a battle of opposites, expect the scoreline to soar in this matchup. While Orlando struggled on offense, the Bucks' porous defense should empower the Magic to find success scoring the ball. It should be a competitive, high-scoring team between two Eastern Conference foes.
Cole Anthony has embraced his role coming off the bench for the Orlando Magic, and he’s rewarded them with some very positive early-season performances. He’s averaging 14.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 32.8 assists while shooting 45.2% from the field and 37.5% from three-point range on 1.5 made per game.
Anthony has hit two or more threes in three of his eight appearances this season and hasn’t been shy about gunning from range. While he hit no threes in his last game, Anthony cleared two threes in his three matches before that one.
In three meetings with the Bucks last season, Anthony hit just four threes on 28.6% efficiency from deep. Don’t read too much into that, though. The Bucks’ defense is much worse than last year, and Anthony should find plenty of opportunities.
Jalen Suggs has been a bright spot for the Orlando Magic through the early regular season. Starting all eight of his games so far, Suggs is averaging 11.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game on 40.5% from the field and 33.3% from three. Healthy and in charge of the Magic offense, Suggs is showing the promise last seen in his rookie campaign.
Suggs only had one assist in his last game but cleared 2.5 assists in the four matches prior. While his focus is on the defensive end, Suggs’ willingness to push the pace and use his athleticism has helped him reintegrate into this Magic squad. Clearing 2.5 assists should be a breeze.
A Same Game Parlay in NBA betting combines multiple wagers on one game, including point spreads, totals, and player props. If all selections within the same game are correct, the bet wins, offering higher potential payouts but with greater risk.
