Aaron Rodgers 2022 Team Pick

Pick

Green Bay Packers (-250) – don’t fall for the drama, this team is his and he will be their leader again in 2022.

Aaron Rodgers Trade Rumors

Given all the trade rumors now circulating about Green Bay Packers future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the oddsmakers have responded with some interesting wagers on which team the 38-year old hurler might play for this season and who could be under center in Green Bay.

Listening to Rodgers’ cryptic messaging on social media and with the press makes it look like the old QB is no longer happy with his longtime setup in Green Bay, but that could also be an outsider’s perception of a situation that is still tenable for the one-time champ.

Here we go over the predictions, odds, and pick of which team Rodgers will end up playing for in 2022, as well as who will be under center in Green Bay, some fun wagers that can make the long NFL offseason a bit more interesting.

Green Bay Packers

When it comes to the Packers deciding on their 2022 QB, it is important to remember that the team was debating this very same issue last offseason, but by the time the regular season started Aaron Rodgers was under center and the team looked mostly unbeatable after Week 1.

Denver Broncos

There is a huge roster gap under center in Denver and they could use a proven veteran like Rodgers to help their star receivers – Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick, Jerry Jeudy – to shine, and new head coach Nathaniel Hackett would most likely be open to having Rodgers lead his Broncos in 2022.

San Francisco 49ers

Lots of rumors that Niners QB Jimmy Garoppolo will be leaving so it makes sense to consider Rodgers for the job, and how fun would it be to see him tossing bombs to playmakers like Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk and tight end George Kittle, potentially powerful combinations in the NFC West.

Indianapolis Colts or Pittsburgh Steelers

Both of these teams have QB holes to fill, and Rodgers could be the man to take those rosters to the next level, but chances are the Colts and Steelers prefer to go in a much younger direction.

Green Bay Packers 2022 Starting QB Pick

Pick

Aaron Rodgers (-280) – with Rodgers under center, the Packers are just a few offseason moves away from being a Super Bowl worthy team again, so expect that to be how it goes in 2022.

Green Bay Packers 2022 Starting QB Predictions

Aaron Rodgers

if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, and the Green Bay Packers with Aaron Rodgers playing quarterback are a sure bet to see the postseason again, and that alone is reason enough to give this talented veteran the reins for at least one more season, even if that costs a lot of money and drama.

Jordan Love

This rookie did not impress many Packers fans when he did play in 2021, throwing more interceptions (3) than touchdowns (2) in the one game that he started and lost, a young player with plenty of potential that could take over in Green Bay, but that might mean a few sad postseasons in their near future.

Any Rookie QB

Depending on how the Green Bay Packers do in the upcoming NFL Draft at the end of April, the team could get lucky with their 28th pick in the first round and select a franchise answer under center, but don’t count on that happening with all the veteran free agents that could come in and save the day.

Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota

Either of these two 28-year old veteran quarterbacks could get the job done in Green Bay, but both have their own set of issues, like Winston’s tendency to throw interceptions and Mariota’s lack of playing time in the last three seasons, with neither looking like the long term answer for the Packers.
