In their first full game without quarterback Trey Lance, the San Francisco 49ers lose a low-scoring defensive-centric battle to the Denver Broncos in Week 3, 11-10.
The Rams have won back-to-back games but head into the 49ers home turf as a slight underdog.
Let’s see what the best bets are for this one.

Heading into this one as a 1.5-point road underdog, this is essentially a pick ‘em between these two NFC West squads.
The Rams have been up-and-down, giving up 27 points to the Atlanta Falcons and scoring just 20 against the Arizona Cardinals. Still, they face a 49ers team with an offense that isn’t on track yet.
Blame it on Lance being out. Blame it on quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo being away from the team all training camp because it was a foregone conclusion that he would be traded, yet he wasn’t.
Either way, despite numerous weapons, the offense is putrid right now.
The 49ers defense is fantastic, allowing the least passing yards and second-least rushing yards per game.
However, the Rams have an offense capable of making a splash, and that will happen at some point while the 49ers struggle to put up enough points.

While we believe the 49ers offense isn’t fully acclimated yet, they should score more than the 10 points in Week 3.
The 49ers have a fantastic defense, but we should keep in mind that they’ve played the Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks, and the Broncos this season.
There are too many weapons on the Rams to be held in check, and they should exceed 20 points.
This one has some beatable matchups, including wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk against Rams cornerback Derion Kendrick.
This has all the makings of a 23-20 finish.
