Week 15 of the NFL season is upon us; after this week, just three weeks are left of the regular season. This week, we’ll also see three games on Saturday.
The Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers are kicking off the week, though, and below, we have the three best prop bets for this matchup.
This season, the Chargers defense could be better against the pass. They’re allowing approximately 24 attempts per game for 285 yards, 1.46 touchdowns, and 0.54 interceptions.
Up next, they have O’Connell on the Raiders. He’s passed for 205 yards or more in four of the six games he’s started. His first-ever start was against the Chargers in Week 4, and he threw for 238 yards.
Sure, the Chargers are without Justin Herbert, but the point spread in this matchup is three points, with the Raiders favored, meaning the score should never get to a point where the Raiders lead by so much they stop passing.
Look for O’Connell to smash this number. Take the over.

From Week 10 on, Adams has seen double-digit targets in all but one game. In those four weeks, he has 40 targets, 25 receptions, 294 yards, and just one score.
Coming off a 3-0 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 14 and a game in which Adams had just seven receptions for 53 yards. On top of the Chargers allowing 285 passing yards, they allow 12 receptions for 175 yards and 1.08 touchdowns per game to opposing wide receivers.
Looking at the wide receiver depth chart, no one will be more involved than Adams.
Look for O’Connell to pepper Adams with targets again here and get him in the endzone against a cushy matchup.

While the rookie Mayer has been a bit more involved lately, his line here of 2.5 receptions is too steep to take the over on. This season, Mayer has had three receptions or more in three games. Over his last five games, he’s had three receptions or more in two of the five.
It’s difficult to compare his last outing against the Chargers because it came in Week 4, and rookie tight ends are notoriously not involved early. Mayer had just one catch through the first four weeks of the season.
Look for Mayer to hit two receptions and this game to turn into passing the ball to Adams and rushing production from Josh Jacobs and Zamir White.
