Combined Odds +1625 via FanDuel Sportsbook

There are only two weeks remaining in the 2023 regular season, and this is also the last TNF game of the year. The schedule concludes with a game between the New York Jets and the Cleveland Browns. While this isn’t the most exciting matchup, there are some props that have a lot of value.

These two teams have been through a lot of adversity this season. The Jets lost their quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, to a season-ending Achilles injury in Week 1. In Week 2, Cleveland lost their stud running back Nick Chubb to a season-ending knee injury.

Deshaun Watson also sustained a season-ending injury about a month ago. This injury brought in several quarterbacks, including the former Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco. Flacco has led the league in passing since joining the Browns, and he now has the Browns at a miraculous 10-5 record with a legitimate chance to make the playoffs.

The Jets have a lot of things to look forward to in the future, but their 2023 season is over after Week 18. New York has a lot of talent but is still missing a few pieces that will turn it into a legitimate contender.

We appreciate you riding our TNF SGP all season. Let’s finish strong with a +1625 winner!

Trevor Siemian Under 173.5 Passing Yards (-112) at FanDuel

The quarterback has been troublesome for the Jets this season. After multiple starters, it appears that we have former Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian getting the nod in Week 17. While Siemian hasn’t produced a great career up to this point, he has shown signs of improvement through this tenure with the Jets.

This Improvement, however, stops with his inability to keep the ball out of the hands of the defense. If the Browns continue to play how they have been, Siemian will be forced to throw the ball more often and take some chances. These changes will likely be failed attempts.

This Browns defense has propelled itself in the past month and has also been labeled a top-five unit. Cleveland has the number one defense against the pass in the league. We expect the Browns to put pressure on Siemian and for him to make bad decisions.

Breece Hall Over 29.5 Receiving Yards (-112) at FanDuel

For most of the season, either the Jets have failed to use Breece Hall to his fullest ability, or Hall has just fallen off. In his rookie campaign, Hall showed an explosive presence that New York lacked but hasn’t shown enough this year.

Last week, with Siemian leading the offense, Hall had 12 receptions for 96 yards and 16 touchdowns. Hall hasn’t received that kind of volume all season, and when he finally did, he came through for a struggling offense.

Siemian was pressured constantly by one of the worst pass-rushing teams in the league. Whenever Siemian did get pushed out of the pocket, he looked for the closest target and got the ball out of his hands. We expect this same thing to happen on Thursday, and for Hall to surpass this line.

Amari Cooper Over 58.5 Receiving Yards (-119) at FanDuel

Amari Cooper is coming off of one of the best games we’ve ever seen by a receiver in the Super Bowl era. Last week against the Texans, Cooper produced 11 receptions for 265 yards, two touchdowns, and a two-point conversion.

Cooper set a franchise record for receiving in a single game. Since Flacco was named the starting quarterback, Cooper and the other receivers on the team have played exceptionally well.

Flacco is airing the ball out like it’s 2009 again. His accuracy is unbelievable, and it’s hard to understand a world where Flacco isn’t playoff-relevant. The Jets only allow 168.6 receiving yards a game to opponents, but we believe it won’t matter once the quarterback-receiver duo starts clicking.

Jerome Ford Anytime Touchdown (+140) at FanDuel

Jerome Ford has filled in for Nick Chubb very nicely following the injury. In Ford's 15 games this season, he’s managed 189 carries for 743 yards with seven touchdowns.

Ford has four rushing touchdowns and three receiving in 2023. Even when the Browns re-signed Kareem Hunt to help fill the Chubb void, Ford continued to prove that he should remain the starter. We expect the Browns to ride Ford heavily on TNF.

New York is 18th in rushing touchdowns and 23rd in the league in rushing yards allowed. The Jets' defense is vulnerable to running backs catching passes out of the backfield and in the red zone. This will give Ford plenty of chances to score!
