Rodolfo Vieira has by far the best jiu jitsu base in all of MMA having won the “World Jiu Jitsu Championship ” four times as well as the “Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu Jitsu Championship” an astounding seven times. Despite his elite Jiu Jitsu resume, Vieria’s only loss came by way of submission to Anthony Hernandez in February of 2021. Since then Vieira won his last fight by submission in round 3 vs Dustin Stolzfus. His opponent, Wellington Turman has had mixed results and has gone 2-3 in the promotion ever since joining back in 2019. So far Turman is yet to earn a win via finish in the UFC and it will prove a very difficult feat to edge out a decision over Vieira who will undoubtedly be working his way towards a submission finish throughout the fight.
Rodolfo Vieira by Submission Round 1 (+250)
Victor Henry is one of the UFC’s most recent signings and has made a name for himself fighting in the regional scene as well as Pancrase and Rizin in Japan. It’s safe to say that Raoni Barcelos will be his toughest test to date. Barcelos has faced higher level opposition throughout his career having beaten the likes of Said Nurmagomedov by decision. Based on the fact that Victor Henry has never been finished in his career, Barcelos will be aiming to win all three rounds rather than look for a knockout or submission.
Raoni Barcelos by decision (+165)
Over the last few of his fights, the undefeated Ilia Topuria has proven he is here to stay, having beaten a range of opponents including Youssef Zalal via decision, as well as brazilian jiu jitsu ace Ryan Hall via knockout in round 1. Canadian prospect Charles Jourdain has gone 3-3-1 so far in the UFC and has a fan friendly fighting style. Based on what we’ve seen from both fighters so far, Topuria undoubtedly has consistency on his side in terms of being undefeated and also seems to be the better fighter in every department.
Ilia Topuria by submission Round 1 (+215)
Fighter | Record (W/L/D) | Odds |
Jack Della Maddalena | 10-2-0 | -365 |
Pete Rodriguez | 4-0-0 | +280 |
A very exciting match up here between two relatively unknown UFC newcomers. Jack Della Maddalena recently got signed to the UFC after winning a hard fought decision on Dana White’s Tuesday nights contender series. He started his mixed martial arts career with two losses but has since won all but one of his fights by KO/TKO. Pete Rodriguez has won all four of his pro MMA fights by knockout in the first round. Jack Della Maddalena has the edge when it comes to experience and is the more technical fighter while Rodriguez tends to brawl his way to a finish.
Jack Della Maddalena by KO/TKO/DQ Round 2 (+475)
Tony Gravely is coming off a TKO loss to Nate Maness in his last fight and will be looking to turn things around with a finish in this fight. Saimon Oliveira is a brazilian jiu jitsu based fighter who has been on the UFC’s radar for a long time and finally earned a contract when he defeated Jose Alday on the contender series last September. This is quite an even matchup on paper however Oliveria will be the hungrier fighter considering this is his official UFC debut.
Saimon Oliveira by submission round 1 (+1000)
Michael Morales showed fantastic striking on his way to earning a UFC contract on the contender series and is an exciting addition to the middleweight division. Trevin Giles has faced tougher opposition through his career however he is coming off a devastating KO loss to Dricus Du Plessis in his last fight. Both fighters are strikers primarily however Morales tends to finish most of his fights in the first round by knockout.
Michael Morales via KO/TKO/DQ round 1 (+800)
Fighter | Record (W/L/D) | Odds |
Silvana Gomez Juarez | 10-3-0 | +120 |
Vanessa Demopoulos | 6-4-0 | -140 |
While Silvana Gomez Juarez has the better record on paper, she did lose to Lupita Godinez via armbar very early in round 1 last October. Meanwhile Vanessa Demopoulos was able to compete with Godinez all the way to a judge’s decision. Despite losing the decision to Godinez, Demopoulos was able to showcase her durability and toughness.
Vanessa Demopoulos via decision (+150)
Matt Frevola is coming off a devastating 7 second KO loss to up and coming prospect Terrence McKinney back at UFC 263 and looks to be at the tail end of his MMA career. Genaro Valdez is an undefeated UFC newcomer and has finished all of his fights. Valdez recently earned his UFC contract on the contender series back in October when he defeated Patrik White by technical knockout in round 2.
Genaro Valdez by KO/TKO/DQ round 1 (+650)
Kay Hansen has gone 1-1 so far in the UFC and earned an impressive triangle armbar win over Jinh Yu Frey. While having had mixed results so far in her career, Hansen is still very young at 22 and is constantly developing as a fighter. Jasmine Jasudaviscus has had more consistency so far in her career and her only loss came by way of split decision. Jasmine Jasudaviscus tends to look for the early finish and it should be no different this time around.
Jasmine Jasudaviscus via KO/TKO/DQ round 1 (+1800)
