Glover Teixiera | TALE OF THE TAPE | Jiri Prochazka |
42 | Age | 29 |
6 ft. 2 in. | Height | 6 ft. 3 in. |
76 in. | Reach | 80 in. |
33-7 | Record | 28-3-1 |
After winning five fights in a row, it was a heartwarming story when Glover Teixiera made good on his second attempt at UFC gold when he defeated Jan Blachowicz by submission in the first round of their UFC 267 main event.
Teixeira hadn’t fought for gold since losing to Jon Jones in 2014. He won the title a day after his 42nd birthday.
But new blood is in the mix. Undefeated so far in the UFC, former RIZIN champion Jiri Prochazka has won his last 12-fights in a row – with only one of them going to a decision.
Prochazka is one inch taller and will have a four-inch reach advantage. Both of his UFC fights were against former title challengers and he won both via second-round KO. He last defeated Dominick Reyes last May.
Although Glover is the fan favorite and feel-good story, it is Prochazka who is listed at -190.

Valentina Shevchenko | TALE OF THE TAPE | Taila Santos |
34 | Age | 28 |
5 ft. 5 in. | Height | 5 ft. 6 in. |
66.5 in. | Reach | 68 in. |
22-3 | Record | 19-1 |
As is usually the case with UFC pay-per-view, Valentina Shevchenko is the biggest betting favorite on the main card. Listed at -630, the women’s flyweight champion hasn’t lost a fight since losing a bantamweight title fight to Amanda Nunes in 2017.
She has defended her title six times – most recently defeating Lauren Murphy via fourth-round TKO at UFC 266 last September.
Taila Santos has just one loss on her professional record and has won her last four fights in a row. She most recently submitted Joanne Wood in the first round of their fight last November.
Santos will stand one inch taller and have a 1.5-inch reach advantage but is listed at +450.
We recently saw women’s great Amanda Nunes shockingly lose her bantamweight title earlier this year. Is another upset in the cards for this Saturday?
Unlikely.
Zhang Weili | TALE OF THE TAPE | Joanna Jedrzejczyk |
32 | Age | 34 |
5 ft. 4 in. | Height | 5 ft. 6 in. |
63 in. | Reach | 65.5 in. |
21-3 | Record | 16-4 |
These two former strawweight champions will finally take part in a rematch after their first fight in 2020 was deemed the Fight of the Year!
Zhang Weili defended her strawweight title in the first fight but has since lost her title and back-to-back fights to Rose Namajunas. She lost the second Namajunas fight via split-decision last November.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk hasn’t fought since the first fight with Weili – more than a two-year layoff from the octagon. She is just 2-4 over her last six fights – stemming back to 2016 when she lost her championship to Rose Namajunas.
Joanna has the physical edge in both height and reach but Weili has beaten her before and the Chinese favorite is listed as -165.
Rogerio Bontorin | TALE OF THE TAPE | Manel Kape |
30 | Age | 28 |
5 ft. 5 in. | Height | 5 ft. 5 in. |
67 in. | Reach | 68 in. |
17-4, 1 no-contest | Record | 17-6 |
After losing back-to-back fights to start his UFC tenure, Manel Kape has now won two in a row – both by first-round knockout – most recently against Zhalgas Zhumagulov last December.
Rogerio Bontorin has struggled as of late, losing his last three fights as well as having a win over Matt Schnell overturned to a no-contest.
These two flyweights stand at equal height but Kape will have a one-inch reach advantage.
Bontorin boasts a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu but Kape is the favorite to win in the eyes of the oddsmakers.
Jack Della Maddalena | TALE OF THE TAPE | Ramazan Emeev |
25 | Age | 35 |
5 ft. 11 in. | Height | 5 ft. 10 in. |
73 in. | Reach | 76 in. |
11-2 | Record | 20-5 |
Ten years younger than his opponent, Jack Della Maddalena will be making just his second octagon appearance this Saturday when he takes on Ramazan Emeev.
Maddalena debuted for the UFC this past January, knocking out Pete Rodriguez in the first round.
Ramazan Emeev, a master of sambo, is 2-2 over his last four fights and is coming off of a split-decision loss to Danny Roberts which took place last October.
Emeev has a three-inch reach advantage but the elder fighter is listed as a +140 underdog.
