MLB Parlay Picks Today: Guardians vs. Twins (4:11 PM, EST)

Twins Moneyline (-144) at FanDuel

The Minnesota Twins will host the Cleveland Guardians on Thursday night in an AL Central battle. This is the beginning of a three-game series between the two teams, and we expect Minnesota to prevail on Thursday afternoon. 

The Twins' offense hasn’t been as good as the Guardians, which is surprising. Minnesota is batting .211 with just 18 runs on the season. Cleveland has played two extra games and is batting .283 with 46 runs on the year. 

A lot of this damage came against the Athletics in the season's opening series. However, they beat the Mariners 8-0 in their most recent contest. As tough as it is to take Minnesota in this spot without a lot of offense, they have a massive starting pitching advantage. 

Pablo Lopez will take the ball for Cleveland, and he is 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA and a 0.57 WHIP. Tanner Bibee was very disappointing in his first start of the year, racking up a 6.75 ERA with a 2.75 WHIP. 

Bibee could be precisely what Minnesota needs to find their offensive stride.

MLB Parlay Picks Today: Pirates vs. Nationals vs. Mets (4:06 PM, EST)

Over 8.5 Runs (-122) at FanDuel

The Pirates and Nationals have been two of the best over teams in Major League Baseball. Pittsburgh is 5-1, and Washington is 4-1 to the over in 2024.

Martin Perez will pitch for Pittsburgh, and he is traditionally good at keeping runs off the board. However, we still believe the Nationals can generate some offense. 

They scored four runs in the first game of the series, and they’re coming off a five-run performance. 

Josiah Gray will take the ball for Washington, and he is 0-1 with a 15.75 ERA. This number will come back down to earth, but he allowed eight hits in four innings with two homers against the Reds. 

The Pirates will have to lead the offensive charge, but there is no reason for this game not to get over if they can generate offense.

MLB Parlay Picks Today: Marlins vs. Cardinals (4:16 PM, EST)

Marlins +1.5 (-170) at FanDuel

The Marlins are 0-7 on the season and off to a terrible start in the NL East, but we’re taking them on the run line Thursday. Lance Lynn will pitch for the Cardinals, and while he was good in his first start, we don’t trust him even against a struggling Miami offense. 

The big question coming into this game is if Ryan Weathers can hold up for Miami. The left-hander is 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA and a 2.25 WHIP. He has thrown four innings this season and allowed seven hits. 

The Cardinals' offense has been just as bad as the Marlins'. St. Louis is hitting .212 on the season with a .290 OBP, while Miami is batting .197 with a .274 OBP. If the Marlins get off to a hot start, they should be within one run on Sunday.
