You might call it early-season luck, but we went 4-1 on MLB prop bets yesterday. If you went with all four, you would have more than doubled your money. We even hit on our home run prop thanks to Cody Bellinger. Since we’re feeling good, here are five more prop bets for Wednesday’s games. The odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook, where new users can get $150 in bonus bets if they sign up and place a $5 wager on any sporting event.

While he had the benefit of facing the Rockies, Kelly followed up a great 2023 campaign with an impressive outing in his season opener. He now has a chance to do the same against the Yankees in a matinee in the desert. Kelly has a strong track record against most of New York’s roster. As a team, the Yankees are batting .179 against him. The Yanks also managed just three hits on Tuesday in a shutout loss. Kelly is getting a team that’s struggling right now, giving him an excellent chance to hold the Yankees to two runs or less.

Overall, Winker has never quite lived up to his promise. But he’s had a good start to the season thus far, going 5 for 11. It’d be a shame not to ride the hot hand, especially with the odds we’re getting. Keep in mind that Winker is 4 for 11 with a double in his career against Pittsburgh starter Mitch Keller. Keller also allowed seven hits over 5.2 innings in his last start, putting Winker in a good position to stay hot.

Bellinger helped us hit our home run prop yesterday, so we’re going to stick with him for the second straight day. He has four hits in his last three games and is always a threat to get an extra-base hit. That makes him the perfect candidate to get multiple bases. Bellinger is also 4 for 11 with a double in his career against Colorado starter Cal Quantrill, which makes us think he’s the right hitter to target.

How do you not bet on Betts right now? He’s literally batting .500 on the season and has three multi-hit games in his last four games. While he’s not getting the most lucrative odds for collecting multiple bases, he still has good value with these odds. On top of hitting .500 over the first week, Betts has nine extra-base hits, including an MLB-high five home runs. He hit another homer on Tuesday and has three extra-base hits over his last two games. The bottom line is that Betts is too hot to ignore right now, even if he's 0 for 4 against San Francisco’s Kyle Harrison.
Everybody knows that Glasnow is capable of dominating lineups and putting up gaudy strikeout numbers. But going over 7.5 strikeouts was too rich for our blood, especially with plus odds for staying under. Glasnow has just eight total strikeouts over his first 11 innings of the season across two starts. He also walked four in his last outing, so he’s not yet hit his stride. As a team, the Giants have just 15 strikeouts over the first two games of their series with the Dodgers. That makes it hard to believe Glasnow will get to eight unless he goes seven or eight innings deep, which is unlikely this early in the season.
