As usual, Thursday is filled with day games in the baseball world. That means there is no time to waste when making MLB prop bets. Since we’re nearly 20 units ahead of the game this season, you’re just going to have to trust us. Here are five prop bets we have picked out for Thursday. All of the odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook, which is giving new users $200 in bonus bets if they sign up and make an initial wager of $5.

Wheeler had a little misfortune early in the season, failing to record a win in each of his four starts. But he’s about to make up for that by going on a run. He was dominant in his last outing, throwing 7.1 scoreless innings while allowing just one hit against the White Sox. In a day game against the Reds, we expect Wheeler to have similar success. The Phillies need a win after back-to-back losses, and he’s the type of pitcher to step up when his team needs him. Plus, it makes no sense for Wheeler to have just one win after six starts, so we think he’ll get another win on Thursday.

Lowe missed the first part of the season with an injury, but he’s hit the ground running with the Rangers. He's already 4 for 13 with a double through his first four games. While that’s just a small sample, we think Lowe can keep it going. On Thursday, Lowe and the Rangers face Luis Castillo, who has had a hard time early in the season. Lowe is also 2 for 5 with a double in his career against Castillo. This could be a big game for the Texas lineup with Lowe likely to be in the middle of it.

Fading Colorado starting pitchers, especially at home, has been a safe bet for most of the season. We’re not going to stop doing it now. Through four starts, Hudson is 0-4 and has given up at least three earned runs in three of the four starts. In the fourth start, the three runs he allowed were unearned, but that’s still a telling track record. Also, there isn’t much reason to think that’s going to change with a start at Coors Field against the Padres. San Diego’s lineup has some heavy hitters who should have success against Hudson.
Tatis is surely one of those hitters who is set up for a big day against Hudson and the Rockies. He’s showcased an impressive amount of power in April, which makes it a little easier to drive in runners on base and also opens the door for Tatis to get an RBI via a home run. At Coors Field, that’s always a distinct possibility, especially since Tatis already has six homers on the year. He also has 15 RBI in 27 games, and we think there’s a good chance he can add to that total against the Rockies.

Cortes seems to have hit his stride this season, at least with regard to his control. The lefty has issued just one walk over his last three starts, covering 19 innings during that span. There’s also no reason why he should fear the Oakland lineup or be afraid to pitch in the strike zone. After the control Cortes has shown in recent starts, it’d be surprising to see him walk more than one batter on Thursday, which makes this feel like a safe bet.
