Cody Bellinger Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (-125 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Cody Bellinger is a likely trade piece at the deadline for the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs' chance of making the playoffs has faded, so they’ll likely continue their rebuild. Bellinger’s comeback this season has been fun to watch, as he’s batting .319 with 14 homers and a .918 OPS.

Our favorite Bellinger prop for tonight is over 1.5 hits + runs + RBI on DraftKings Sportsbook. It’s priced at -125, which is fair in this spot. Bellinger has gone over this total in four of his past five games, and he has done it in various ways.

There have been games where he recorded 2+ hits, and at other times, he’s recorded a hit, run, and RBI all in the same night. Bellinger should continue his success against the White Sox on Tuesday, with Michael Kopech on the mound. Kopech hasn’t been good this season, at 4-8 with a 4.29 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP.

Kopech has good strikeout pitches, but he walks batters consistently. He has walked 57 batters in 92.1 innings of work. The walks will give Bellinger more opportunities to drive runners in and score himself if given a free pass. Take the center fielder to go over his total, as his time in Chicago is likely ending.

Max Muncy Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (-110 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

We have been leaning into the hits + runs + RBI markets lately because there are many ways for a batter to cash this bet. There are so many ways to win the wager in one swing. An RBI single or home run makes this bet cash instantly, so it’s never dead in a game.

Max Muncy hasn’t had the best season for the Dodgers outside of home runs. He is seventh in baseball this season with 25 bombs and 39th in OPS at .819. However, his average has really taken a hit over the years, as he is now batting just .201.

The reason to take Muncy tonight is that he is the hottest hitter in baseball. He has had eight hits in his past five games, including four homers and 11 RBI. He has hit this prop in five straight games, and we like him to make it six tonight.

Muncy will face Chris Bassitt, who has been reputable for the Blue Jays in 2023. He is 10-5 with a 3.92 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP. In 121.2 innings, he has allowed 110 hits, including 18 homers. Muncy is much better off righties, batting .227 compared to .134 off lefties. His OBP is also .363 from off RHP, so he should continue his success tonight.

George Kirby Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-145 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

George Kirby has been solid this season for the Mariners. He will look to get the team back on track tonight as Minnesota defeated Seattle in extra innings last night. Seattle had a go-ahead two-run shot in the top of the ninth that didn’t matter as the Twins tied them in the bottom of the inning. Carlos Correa then had a walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th.

Kirby has been up and down with his strikeout performances. However, the Twins are the biggest strikeout offense in baseball, and he was fantastic last time out against the club. Kirby fanned ten batters in seven innings, allowing just four hits on July 20 versus Minnesota.

We don’t expect Kirby to have double-digit strikeouts again tonight, but we expect him to maneuver through this lineup and be efficient. His strikeout total is listed for 5.5, and the over is -145 on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Luis Castillo threw seven innings last night against Minnesota and struck out nine in seven innings. Minnesota struck out 12 total times last night, and this series trend will continue tonight. Take Kirby’s strikeout total on Tuesday.
