Anthony Rizzo Over 0.5 Total Bases (-160 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

The New York Yankees will face the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday. Chicago has been struggling, and there are a lot of good opportunities to take advantage of the mismatch for betting. Lucas Giolito will throw for the White Sox, and he is 4-4 with a 4.08 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP. Over 68.1 innings, he has allowed 65 hits with 11 homers. One of the best matchups for today against Giolito is Anthony Rizzo. 

Rizzo is 21st in baseball with a .293 average and he is also 33rd in OPS at .849. Rizzo has been consistently delivering, and his total base prop is very fairly priced at -170. DraftKings listed Rizzo at over 0.5 total bases for -170. He hasn’t been great in his past five-game games, but he has gone over this number three times. Ten of Rizzo’s 11 homers have come off righties this season, so look for him to show some pop against Giolito. 

Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases (-110 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Shohei Ohtani is the favorite to win the MVP award and for good reason. He is one of the best offensive players in the game and is also a dominant pitcher. Ohtani is batting .274 with a .346 OBP and 15 homers on the season. His total bases prop is listed at 1.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook, and he shouldn’t have much trouble facing Hayden Wesneski today of the Cubs. 

Wesneski is 2-2 on the season with a 4.81 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP. In 43 innings, he has only fanned 32 batters and allowed ten homers. Ohtani will be able to relax in the box today, as he doesn’t have to worry about elite strikeout ability. Additionally, Wesneski consistently allows homers, so Ohtani can hit this prop with one swing of the bat. 

Max Muncy Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Max Muncy has been getting better and better with every game this season. His average still isn’t high at .203, but this isn’t why the Dodgers have him in the lineup. Muncy is in Los Angeles’ lineup to hit for power, and he has done this all season. The batter has blasted 18 homers, which is third in baseball with 42 RBI. Muncy only has one hit in his past three games, but it was a two-run homer. We’re going to play Muncy’s total base prop at 1.5, but if you want to get a little riskier, you could take him to go yard. 

Muncy will face Luke Weaver, who is 1-2 with a 5.36 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP. Over 43.2 innings, he has allowed 50 hits and 11 homers. Thirteen of Muncy’s 18 homers have also come off righties, so the matchup is ideal against Weaver. 

J.D. Martinez Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

The entire Dodgers lineup has a good matchup tonight against Luke Weaver. Weaver has been inconsistent, and he leaves a lot of balls over the heart of the plate. Martinez is having a strong campaign this season, with a .276 average and 14 homers. He is also eighth in baseball with a .936 OPS. 

Additionally, Martinez has been amazing off righties, slashing .305/.321/.695 with 12 homers and 36 RBI. Martinez will get the best of Weaver early in this contest. Any batter in Los Angeles’ lineup that mashes righties is ideal because Weaver isn’t overpowering. Muncy, Martinez, and Mookie Betts would be three of our favorite plays for the night when it comes to hitter props.
