The ALDS is headed to Game 4 in both matchups. Both games have appealing NRFI wagers.
Both ALDS series have been very low-scoring. The offenses have not been clicking on either side, and we expect this trend to continue on Thursday.
We are taking both of these wagers on bet365 Sportsbook, one of the best sportsbooks for MLB betting. As a special offer, bet365 gives new users a $1,000 safety net bet or $200 in bonus bets. Claim this exclusive deal by applying our promo code WSN365 when signing up for bet365 account.
Cleveland had a terrific regular season, winning the AL Central. Detroit also had a great season, finishing second in this division, and they are looking to close out the series in this matchup.
With the Guardians needing a win to force Game 5, we expect Tanner Bibee to deliver a great start. In the regular season, he was 12-8 with a 3.47 ERA and struck out 187 batters.
Bibee will go deep into this game, but we don't know how the offense will respond, so we see a ton of value in taking this NRFI.
The Tigers are likely going with a bullpen game in this matchup. The Tigers have a unique strategy this postseason with the way they utilize pitchers.
We have seen starting pitchers come in and close games, and outside of Tarik Skubal, they have not had another true starter.
Even with the bullpen games that the Tigers have put together, they have been outstanding this postseason. The Guardians have not scored a single run in the last two games as they look lost at the plate.
We expect the Tigers' pitching staff to continue this and shut down Cleveland's offense, as they have owned them the last two games. We are also confident that Bibee will limit runs and cash this NRFI wager.

The second NRFI we’re taking on Thursday features Gerrit Cole and the Yankees against Michael Wacha and the Royals.
In 2024, New York was the AL East champion and one of the best teams in the league. Kansas City finished second in the AL Central.
Cole struggled in his first postseason start. He had four strikeouts in five innings and an ERA of 5.40. However, he has plenty of playoff experience, and we expect him to bounce back in this matchup.
Cole is 10-6 in 18 games throughout his career in the postseason. He has struck out 138 batters in 109.1 innings in this span and has a WHIP of 0.99. Look for Cole to return to his old self and keep running off the scoreboard.
Wacha gets the ball for Kansas City, and he is also coming off a rough start. He has a 6.75 ERA with three strikeouts in four innings this postseason. Wacha struck out 145 batters in 166.2 innings in the regular season.
Wacha has struggled in the postseason but is experienced enough to deliver a great start in a game that the Royals must win to force a Game 5.
The Yankees have a lot of big bats at the beginning of the lineup. Yet, all these hitters need to be more consistent.
We expect both starters to have great starts and go deep into this game. The success starts in the first inning, allowing no runs to cash our second NRFI for Thursday.
