So far FC Dallas has had a pretty good season, and they can continue put another feather in their hat by beating Atlanta Saturday afternoon.

Dallas is going to be playing a squad that seems to have gotten their mojo back.

Not only that, but Atlanta is finally beginning to get their most important players coming back into their lineup as well.

I am interested to see if they can hold off the Atlanta attack, as they take on last year’s MVP in Josef Martinez and Ezequiel Barco (who came on with a bang last week scoring one of the week’s most incredible goals).

But it isn’t just about the defense, if they are going to beat Atlanta, they’ll have to get at least a couple of goals.

Being that Atlanta has one of the top defenses in the league, along with a top three goalkeeper in Brad Guzan, they have their work cut out for them.

Atlanta had a rough start to the 2019 MLS campaign, but now that they finally have some of their top players back on the pitch, they can start getting back to their dominant ways.

Unfortunately, Mikey Ambrose was injured a couple of weeks ago, and won’t be returning for at least four more weeks, but Atlanta’s bench came up big against New England last week.

We’ll see if they can do the same against better talent this week in Atlanta.

Odds and Predictions

This being Atlanta’s first home game of the season, you can expect the five stripe faithful to show up in droves to root their team on.

That along with finally beginning to get healthy, and the emergence of Ezequiel Barco last week gives Atlanta the slight edge over Dallas.

That said, Dallas is a dangerous team who has the ability to outscore you if you don’t keep the pressure on them defensively.
