Nfl Best Mnf Prop Bets

Click here for Giants vs Cowboys prop bets MNF Week 3.

The first Monday Night Football slate of the year is the one that typically has two matchups, but this season, it’s the second week.

And do we have two great matchups this week, or what?

First up, we have the Tennessee Titans on the road after a heartbreaking loss to the New York Giants, taking on the Buffalo Bills, who dismantled the Los Angeles Rams.

Then, about an hour later, the Philadelphia Eagles will host the Minnesota Vikings in what should be a high-scoring affair.

Here, we’ll look at the two best prop bets from each game that you can make right now to win some money.

Buffalo Bills vs. Tennessee Titans

Stefon Diggs Any Time Touchdown (+100) at DraftKings

Stefon Diggs is the No. 1 option on an offense that not only scored 31 points in Week 1 but should be around that number every week.

This week, the Bills have had ample rest leading up to the game, and Diggs will be covered primarily by Titans cornerback Kristian Fulton.

In Week 1, Fulton gave up 88 yards receiving and a touchdown against the Giants.

The “-” line here isn’t great, but this should be a slam dunk pick.

Josh Allen Under 1.5 Touchdowns (+135) at Caesars

Caesars

This is an attractive prop bet to make due to the +146 price. In Week 1, Bills quarterback Josh Allen had three passing touchdowns.

In this one, we could see the running game get worked in a bit more and Allen continuing his success on the ground, getting his legs moving.

He also had a rushing touchdown on 56 yards in Week 1.

The Titans secondary is soft enough that a multi-touchdown game is more likely, but that’s why this is “+” value.

The Bills offense is so good that they could still score 30 with one passing touchdown from Allen.

This is a “risk” worth taking.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Minnesota Vikings

Justin Jefferson Over 7.5 Receptions (+115) at Caesars

Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson was simply unstoppable in Week 1.

Against the Green Bay Packers, Jefferson had nine catches on 11 targets for 184 yards and two touchdowns.

However, what was so mesmerizing about this performance was how Jefferson was utilized.

New head coach Kevin O’Connell had Jefferson motioning all over the field. The defenders on the Packers couldn’t cover him.

The Eagles will deploy cornerback Darius Slay to try and follow him, but Jefferson is matchup-proof.

He’s a candidate for double-digit catches each week regardless of the matchup, but especially in one where the total is above 50 points.

Jalen Hurts Any Time Touchdown (+125) at FanDuel

In case you forgot how mobile Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was, he reiterated that in Week 1.

Throwing no touchdowns or picks, and for 243 yards, Hurts picked up 90 rushing yards and a touchdown on an eye-popping 17 carries.

To have the ability to bet on a quarterback to score a rushing touchdown coming off a 17-carry game at +125 is a no-brainer.

This game should be high scoring—we mentioned the total is above 50—and Hurts will continue to damage opposing defenses with his legs.

He may not get 17 carries again, but double digits each week are almost expected at this point.

What Is a Prop Bet?

A prop bet is where you wager on a micro-event happening within the larger event.

In this case, the larger event would be the game—for example, the New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills.

Within that event, prop bets can be made on the game, each team, and single players.

Suppose you’re unsure where to bet on the money line, spread, or totals. In that case, this can be an alternative as it still involves the game you’re interested in, but in a different way.

NFL Player Prop Bets

Player props are arguably the most exciting type of prop bet. In a way, these are like fantasy football in terms of guessing the final game statistic for each player.

For example, Bills running back Devin Singletary has a rushing yard prop bet line of 54.5.

Your goal is to decide whether it’ll go over or under that number, and there are odds for each selection.

NFL Team Prop Bets

As opposed to single-player props, team props are where you’ll gauge how the team performs individually throughout the game.

Some popular examples include points at halftime, the number of touchdowns or field goals scored, and more.

Why You Should Trust Us

After writing about fantasy football for over a decade as a hobby, I turned that into a job starting in 2015. From there, I covered fantasy football and began covering the NFL more generally, including some betting content. However, my writing regarding online sports betting became more prevalent in 2018 after the Professional, and Amateur Sports Protection Act was overturned in May.

Since then, I’ve covered sports betting on the NFL and other sports.

With each pick, you can feel confident in knowing that these are picks I’d make with my own money.

How Do We Pick Our Best Prop Bets?

There’s a plethora of ways to examine prop bets. You can examine the point spread for single-player props to see where the sportsbooks think the game will go.

For example, if a sportsbook has the Bulls as 13-point favorites, that could indicate the Bills will have a substantial lead at some point, leading to less passing from quarterback Josh Allen.

In that case, if we refer back to the rushing prop of Devin Singletary, it could make more sense.

That said, each case is different in terms of NFL roster construction.

Some other general rules of thumb are wide receiver vs cornerback matchups, the offensive line versus a defensive line, and more.

There are plenty of nuances here.
